We went to Kooma for lunch on a cool Wedneday afternoon. There were five of us and our only seating option was to crowd in at a four top.
I ordered a lunch special, which included spicy tuna, California, and tuna. The spicy tuna was excellent - very good flavor and texture, with just a bit of bite to it. The California was also very good, with crisp cucumber and tasty avocado. The rice in both cases had good flavor and texture and the nori was also quite crisp.
The service was a tad slow though quite friendly - and the dining area was crowded. There was no presentation to the sushi - simply rolled, cut and served. The lunch price was excellent, and included salad (the ginger dressing was some of the best Ive tried) and Miso soup.
Overall, a good experience. Ill definitely be back.
