very bad service for diabetic cats 4/8/2013

My cat did not do well with both the insulin and the diab. cat food. \r She was taken off both. The insulin (she actually got it only once/day because she refused to eat for the 2nd dose), and yet her insulin went from 477 to low to mid 80's within 7-10 days. \r The vet (Dr. Christy Fields) then put her on Diab. food. On abt. the 3rd day, my cat started having diah. & blood in her stools. Abt. a wk to 1 1/2 wk. she was taken off the food, & the diah & bld. in stools were gone. Dr. Fields' comment (as I was going to START) taking her off the Diab. food was "I just don't know what to do ". Leaving the customer hanging. She is supposedly the vet, yet SHE doesn't know or can't think of anything else to try???\r Last fall, I noticed my cat shaking now & then & mentioned it to Dr. Fields, & she just had a questioned look on her face & shrugged her shoulders - NO ANSWER for it. Wonderful vet and staff 1/27/2005

We have been taking our cats to Kimberly Pines Vet Hospital for so long Dr. Moulton and the staff feel like family. Every animal is treated with gentleness and genuine concern, and the staff is great at keeping you updated on your pet's condition when they're hospitalized. The vets are very knowledgable and compassionate, especially during that difficult visit when it's time to say goodbye to a beloved pet. I always feel confident that my cats are in good hands. Very highly recommended! Pros: Caring staff, accessible vets, on time appts more
