My cat did not do well with both the insulin and the diab. cat food. \r She was taken off both. The insulin (she actually got it only once/day because she refused to eat for the 2nd dose), and yet her insulin went from 477 to low to mid 80's within 7-10 days. \r The vet (Dr. Christy Fields) then put her on Diab. food. On abt. the 3rd day, my cat started having diah. & blood in her stools. Abt. a wk to 1 1/2 wk. she was taken off the food, & the diah & bld. in stools were gone. Dr. Fields' comment (as I was going to START) taking her off the Diab. food was "I just don't know what to do ". Leaving the customer hanging. She is supposedly the vet, yet SHE doesn't know or can't think of anything else to try???\r Last fall, I noticed my cat shaking now & then & mentioned it to Dr. Fields, & she just had a questioned look on her face & shrugged her shoulders - NO ANSWER for it. DON'T GO TO HER. Now, suddenly, when she diagnoses my cat w/diabetes, she suddenly can think of the rea
