I passed this place for years and never thought of going into it. It is located in a conveniently located strip mall with a very large, very busy laundromat, a Mexican restaurant and a Chinese chicken wing place that has since closed. There was a lot of foot traffic in that area from the many subsidized apartment complexes in the neighborhood.\r

All that said, one day during what must have been the worst period of my life (10/08), I desperately needed day care for my daughter who had been home with me for two years. The place was clean, the lady in the front office was pleasant enough -- not bubbly but clearly confident that they had a great place there. After several visits I signed up.\r

Worst child care decision I ever made! \r

No one EVER smiled or interacted warmly with the kids unless they were friends with the parents. They seemed like the most miserable teachers on earth. The place was immaculate. ..because the children were not allowed to move around. My two year old, no matter when I went in there, was sitting down. Eating or at a table where a teacher and the 11 chidlren were crammed wtih two puzzle pieces each or one car each. Or sitting at the table waiting her turn while the one teacher worked with each child totally controlling the art projects so it looked ""pretty"" ie. everything within the lines. NEVER were these kids allowed free exploration in the classroom. They lied to my child to trick her into separating from me by saying she would get to walk with the big kids out to the school bus. As soon as I walked out the door, they got someone to take her to the classroom. And it always reeked of cleaning solutions.\r

After about two months, I got my precious child out of there and into a place that is less perfect looking with very happy staff who know something about child care. Their first observation? ""He just sits at the table like he is not allowed to move."" \r

Stay away from here!
Pros: Clean, easity accessible, nice playground equipment, nice gym, nice movie theater
Cons: Rigidly controlled learning room, staff miserable, too much sitting, lack of child development knowledge, too clean and orderly, rudeness observed with school age children
