When you're a home owner and renting it out, Kerr Properties is the company to hire; you feel that the tenants are well-screened, that repairs are fixed promptly, that your property is well-tended to and protected. When we have concerns, we get immediate response and communication is easy and always helpful. That's what you want in a managing agency so that you can rest easy. more

****This review is for prospective tenants of Kerr Properties**** It was hell jumping through all the hoops and dealing with the horrible employees just to get approved. We thought that after we signed the lease that they would leave us alone! We didn't hound them too much to fix things around here(which they never did), and we expected them to respect our privacy. The Hell did not end. No, no, and it won't for you either! Once you're a member of the Kerr dysfunctional family, you'll be demanded of to sign things about which they don't tell you before hand (no, you can not show those papers to a lawyer). You'll be endlessly bothered/threatened to do little things, OR ELSE! If you have no problem with a large company treating their customers like cattle... Then Join The Herd!! more

BEWARE: Kerr Properties is the worst 1/8/2012

BEWARE: Kerr Properties is the worst management company ever. Do not rent from these guys unless you want to have your deposit stolen from you. We rented a house from them last year (despite a warning from the previous tenants about how horrible Kerr is), and we are still fighting to get our money back. They nickel and dime you over everything, add ludicrous charges onto your account to lower the deposit refund, and are just a nightmare to deal with. We've had to call them repeatedly just to get any sort of response -- And one time they flat-out refused to speak to my roommates and I, saying we had to wait to read the letter they were sending out that afternoon (it arrived 1.5 weeks later). If you are considering renting from these guys, DON'T DO IT. more

Love to Nickle and Dime 8/11/2011

Live in an apartment managed by this company for over 3 years, loved the owners, but the managemant company was awful! Not only did they lose a rent check and charge us a late fee due to their incopetence, but they also charged us a $30 fee to cancel our refund check that we never recieved before they would cut a new one. In addition we were charged for not filling nail holes on move out, it was stated in our contract to not fill nail holes as requested by the owner. I have always prided myself in being an excellent tenant and leaving past rentals in better shape than when I move in. I will say that the owner, who took care of all repairs, was amazing. Most concerns were addressed in hours, even on the weekend. The 6 month property checks were good as well, it ensured that the property was in good repair. I would not however rent from this company again, the good did not out weigh the bad. more

We have been in our home for over 11 years and we truly look forward to the every 6 month walk through program which is the envy of our friends who rent. We love the house and want to continue to meet your expectations by maintaining our home to the best of our ability and knowing that needed repairs will be done help keep our worries to a minimum. The addition of the on line rental payment option has made things so much easier as well. We appreciate your very friendly staff and have referred many friends to Kerr Properties as THE place to find what they are looking for. more

Thank God for Kerr Properties rescuing us when they did! We almost got taken by another company (Fox Management). Kerr rented us a beautiful, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home, that is only 1 1/2 years old for $900.00 dollars a month, with the water, garbage and lawn care all included in the rent ! Plus a operating home security system monitored by Brinks! This is a dream home for us. No deposits, just the rent for the month. Kerr was so nice, they even told us, that if we didn't qualify for the house, the would work with us. The best part is the neighborhood is in a new exclusive West Hills area, the same type of area that Fox Management promised but never delivered. The only 3 bedroom house they showed us, turned out to be a dump. But the picture on the Fox Management website was different than the house they showed us. Plus Fox Management, wanted a $200.00 to hold it, until we passed a credit check etc. Well, while the gal was yapping from Fox Management, one of our cell phones rang, and it was Kerr Property Management, saving the day, and our money. more

We've been renting from Kerr Property Management for a few years now in a couple of different houses. This company has been great to us and since we own a rental home out of state we understand both the landlord and tenant points of view. One of the houses we rented from Kerr had an owner that wouldn't repair much; which is no fault of Kerr since they don't own the rentals. This is why we moved to a different home with Kerr as we understood their hands were tied on our first home but the one we're in now, Kerr is authorized to do repairs and the maintenance staff does a wonderful job. Excellent company 6/7/2011

I’d give you 5 stars. We’ve been very happy with the service Kerr has provided. We haven’t had one month of skipped rent because they’ve always found someone to rent our house immediately after one r enter leaves. They’ve taken care of minor repairs and we’ve been very happy with them. more
