I have used Kenny Hill for 3 years, and I wish I had trusted my instincts earlier.
I took my car to this shop for a pre-purchase inspection. They found $500 worth of repairs to be done, and I was able to re-negotiate the purchase price of the car. There was an oil leak that the shop missed, and when I took the car in a month later to have it fixed, they found another $500 worth of repairs to be made independent of the leak. I complained that they should have found these repairs during the initial inspection and I could have negotiated that into the price, but this is how this shop operates.
If you bring your car in for a simple repair, the shop does not make the repair. They will instead find $500 worth of work that they insist you need. When you bring the car back in a couple of weeks to have them make that initial repair, they will find another $500 worth of repairs to make.
I had my doubts about this place, but thought I might be being paranoid. The final straw was a couple of weeks ago when I brought the car in for an oil change. They told me I needed a left motor mount and a valve cover gasket, and they would do it for me for a mere $1,129. As I have saved all paperwork for my repairs at this shop, I was able to show them that they had recommended AND PERFORMED these exact repairs on the same day barely 9,000 miles ago.
The same parts failing prematurely and simultaneously? Coincidence? No. These guys are crooks, and they are not even good crooks, but sloppy insult-your-intelligence crooks. My stack of bills from these guys always begin with a sentence like ""A.C. belt still squeaks"", and then ends with a sentence like, ""$713. Paid in full. Mastercharge."" At least fix the real problem when you rob someone, and maybe make a note in the computer so that you don't rob them for the same thing over and over again.
Pros: clean shop
Cons: These guys are crooks
