they have an iron skillet that features a half inch thick breakfast ham steak. the chicken fried chicken, and chicken fried steak are huge, and with a buttery cream gravy is the top food available in houston, for the price. the smothered porkchop is excellant. buttered carrots are excellant. I wanted to go here because Kelly is my name, but they spell theirs Kelley. They serve up the biggest baked potato ever. Very good food, seedy neighborhood though. They need a location near 290 or 1-45. Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere Cons: Location more

For cheap and HUGE PORTIONS, none better 7/26/2002

Kelley's Country Cookin is cheap eats and HUGE PORTIONS, so HUGE you can easily share one plate with a friend. The food is great, the service is outstanding, it's a family restaurant. It's very inexpensive, and great food! Quirk recommends it! I'm a regular there. Pros: wheelchair access, friendly service, tables available Cons: crowded sometimes more
