Keegan's Irish Pub & Restaurant

There is nothing bad about this place, just that every positive is offset by a negative. Friendly waitstaff, but they lost the food slip...a 40 minute wait for the food. Food was good but overpriced. They have a good selection of beers, Stella on tap was a nice surprise, but the Guinness was served ice cold, with no time to settle. No proper Irish pub would serve it that way. Guinness understands this. No luck on a second round of drinks, the waitstaff was overwhelmed with a load of pub crawlers. Unable to get a waitress, so after 15 minutes we gave up, and left. This is an OK place to go with a date or small group of friends for something to eat, one or two drinks and then moving on. Not a traditional Irish pub where you would settle in for an evening of socializing. more

There was a wedding party at the place when we were there and we were about to turn around - there were over 100 people! But then the waitress quickly found us a table. The cheese tray is delicious and perfect just to snack with a beer. The pouch salmon is simply heavenly. The authentic atmosphere by itself is worth the trip. They also have live music almost every night, and traditional Irish music on Sundays, which I hope I can make time for in the future. After the wedding party moved on, the place is not too crowded, but we were there before the live music started. Pros: Great beer, Great food, Authentic atmosphere Cons: parking not free more

Pretty cool pub in a neighborhood with lots of other bars and restaurants. They poured great pints and have everything you'd expect at an Irish pub. I was there on a Thursday night and they had an Iirsh band playing (can't remember who it was but they were really good). I'll be back again soon. I really enjoyed going here. I recommend the beef stew or the fish and chips. Those seemed to be favorites with our group. The service was friendly and at times really funny. I would definately come back. Pros: good music, convenient location, pleasant service more
