Hip atmosphere, average pedi at best..... 3/25/2008

I heard Juut had done a massive remodel of their southdale location so my sister and i went to check it out. They have a very hip atmosphere now, but with small irriations and to top if off my pedi was average at best. At first I thought it looked really 'cool' in there. But then you take the worlds slowest elevator down one floor to go to the worlds smallest pedi room. They charged $90 for my pedi, and my sisters was $80 - when i booked these pedi's i was not told we would have different charges for obvious different experience levels. Probably something that could have been mentioned when i booked them? Plus, for charging that amount for a pedi - go somewhere else! Pros: good location being part of southdale Cons: pricey pedi not worth it.... more

Great New Salon in Southdale! 3/22/2008

I love the new location in southdale. Its upscale and just an incredible atmosphere. Shawn is a brow guru - see her and you won't be disappointed! The only negative is the front desk staff. They have no clue what they are doing! They don't know how to work their own computers for appointments. That is inexcusable for an upscale salon! Worst cut ever! 1/15/2008

I went to Southdale Juut salon because a friend had a good experience there. The stylist I chose was an average range price wise with two years experience but she really messed up my hair. My hair is extremely curly and needed someone who knew what they were doing. She obviously didn't. After my first cut, I wasn't happy and went back for a slightly shorter cut which she did, no problem. The second cut was as bad as the first. She just couldn't manage my hair even though she dried and straightened it. I would definitely not recommend any friend of mine to go there. There are lots of salons that have done a perfect job on my hair in the past. I have never had to return for a fix up. Pros: Convenient location Cons: Ambience, Skill more

Gross atmosphere and gross staff. I was really underwhelmed by this place. What's with all the hype? They think they are some fabulous New York City day spa but really they are a dumpy salon in a strip mall. There are far better places in the 10 block radius of this place. Don't waste your $$! Horrible!! 10/15/2006

I was SO disappointed in the staff at Juut in Edina. The front desk had NO time for me. They were rude and too fast. The ambience is next to a Cost Cutters; tacky tiling and flourescent lighting were just the beginning. I paid too much money and received too little attention to ever go back. Pros: Next to Cub foods for easy grocery pick up Cons: EVERYTHING!! more

I scheduled an appointment to get my brows done with Beth who had been recommended to me by a co-worker. Wow! I was amazed what she could do with my brows! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants top notch results! more

very friendly 1/20/2003

I generally find upscale salons to be a little intimidating, but the entire staff was very friendly and made me feel right at home. I recieved a haircut and waxing service. Both were done very thoroughly and with great care. I will definitely be back! Pros: friendly, professional, high quality Cons: pricey but good, busy more
