First experience with the Daymakers 1/9/2012

I loved my first trip to Juut in Edina. I worked with Rachel and felt very well taken care of. I look forward to visiting again and definitely saw the value in working with a Master level daymaker. My only suggestion would have been for her to walk me through what she was doing, since I was new to getting facials and some things would have been good to know about before she did them. more

I recently went to the Southdale location to get my haircut with Ashley. She was a great listener and did exactly what we talked about in the consultation. She has such a caring heart and has intentional and genuine conversations with me. Two thumbs up :) more

Eduardo Scissor Hands 11/13/2011

I recently got my hair cut with Eduardo at the Edina/Southdale Location and loved it! He is a perfectionist and very detail-oriented, which I appreciate very much in a stylist. He's funny, charming and above all, respectful of me, my time and my preferences. He's also really innovative as a stylist and isn't afraid to provide recommendations and advice. My haircut was fabulous and my hair looks and feels 100% healthier after getting it cut with Eduardo. I most certainly plan on coming back to see him in a couple of weeks, and will gladly recommend him to my friends and family. more

Overall, really happy-- Technically excellent, sometimes trouble with scheduling team, but it all works out. Would give 5 stars if scheduling team worked smoothly. more

Great Color and Waxing experience 1/12/2011

I decided to go to Juut because I wasn't completely satsified with the previous salon I had been going to. I went from blonde to brown and Haley did an excellent job. It's holding well and I really like it. My hair is also much healthier because of the color too. I also had my brows tinted and waxed by Rachel and they look very pretty. 100% satisfied! more

Juut salon spa-Edina 7/2/2010

The worst place for a hair color....I decided to give this salon a try after I saw their website which raved about their staffs' expertise & experience . They all seemed very convincing & very impressive in pictures..I first consulted with their master level colorist. It took her 4-5 hrs & to give me somewhat the right color. The cost was $ 165. I dont mind spending the money if the job is done right. The manager seemed very rude & kept giving explanations & just blamed the whole thing on me.. The lack of politeness,customer service ,apologies & of course THE horrible color are making me write this review. Just beware! Pros: None Cons: Many more

Pedicure 4/9/2010

I have had several pedicures with few at the $70 price range which was the price at Juut. There was nothing new, different or better for this pedicure. Little massage, no foot masques and little exfoliation. When I asked to have my nails clipped shorter she said that she was unable to do that. Poor customer service. Very poor value for the price. Cons: Way over priced more

A wonderful stylist - others not so much!! 6/6/2009

I decided to come over from Rocco's and give Juut a try. I brought a photo of a hairstyle I loved and Leaux cut it perfectly on my first visit! She is an absolute sweetheart and makes you feel so comfortable. She listens and offers suggestions to help you get exactly what you want. I highly recommend her. However, a couple of other employees were not as friendly and two of them walked directly in front of me several times as I sat waiting and didn't as much as glance at me. No smiles, nothing. This was my first impression of the salon and luckily...they had Leaux to change a negative into a positive. The receptionist was friendly but a pregnant sylist and the person stocking shelves were certainly not. It was as if I weren't even there. I had to give you a four rating because of this. A simple smile goes a long way! more

I (female) have short dark hair with blonde streaks and am very particular about my haircut. I got the absolute best haircut of my life from Mike Kattner. Every hair was just in the right place and the shape was just ...terrific. more

Worst eye brow wax 2/1/2009

Beth did a horrible job on my brows. I made her stop after she did one. I did not want her working on me anymore. Beth is the lead esthtician. She seemed indifferent to my distress, maybe a little amused, as did the manager. I will never go back to any Juut after how I was treated. Pros: candles are burning so it smells nice when you walk in Cons: snobby, stuck up, rude staff more

Amazing! 8/18/2008

I went to check out the new Southdale location and was blown away. It is by far the best Salon I've ever been to. Not only is it a beautiful salon, but it is full of beautiful people. I received a haircut which was the best haircut I've ever had. The stylist really took her time asking me questions not only about my hair, but about my lifestyle so she would know what style would work best for me. I had a great experience there and would recommend this salon to anyone I know. Pros: Everything Cons: Parking is tough around the dinner hour more

Free iced tea! 7/22/2008

I used to be a loyal Rocco's galleria girl but after my stylist left and the staff REFUSED to tell me where she transferred to I decided to check out Juut across the street. Oh my god what a difference! You walk in and you can pour yourself fresh iced tea with lemons in it or water or different kinds of hot drinks. And you know its fresh because you can see it. I've never had that before. Obviously the prices are kind of hefty so I went with a lower-priced stylist named Arlowe (sp?) and she was great! I got a scalp massage, shoulder massage, she didn't rush thru the shampoo (best part!!!!) in fact she took a lot of time and massaged my scalp and didn't try to ask stupid questions she just let me relax and told me to tell her if the water was too cold, etc. She did a really good job with my curly hair and talked about different ways I could style it at home that I've never thought of or had a stylist tell me before in my 35 yrs on the planet, and actually styled it really cute which says alot when you figure 90% of hairdressers can't style curly hair. My husband loves my new hair. Highly recommend this salon! more
