Love, love, love this place! 3/5/2012

This is such a cool place! I've taken my daughter there for a few of the open jumps and she never wants to leave. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I spoke with a manager about booking a party and she answered every single question I had. I booked the party and we had an amazing time. The pricing to me seemed very resonable and party was worth every penny. You place your order and just show up to enjoy the party. They greeted my guests, set up party room, passed out food and drink, and the best part of all....they cleaned it all up afterwards. I really hope my daughter wants to come back next you because I sure do!\r more

Anyone can post anything, no matter how wrong! 2/15/2012

The review below is the first negative review Jump For Fun has received on CitySearch (after 4 years and thousands of events). ALL OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS SEEN HERE ARE FOR JUMP ZONE, WHICH HAS CLOSED. The problem with CitySearch Reviews is that anyone can post anything, no matter how outrageous or untrue, and the business owner can do nothing about it but reply like this. It is just something that small business owners have to deal with in the internet age. This case is simply an unfortunate situation with an individual that does not understand our clearly written party policies. She held her party on a holiday, and our website clearly defines holidays as under the weekend pricing structure. We have hosted thousands and thousands of birthday parties, and we have never had anyone misunderstand what is a clearly stated policy. In spite of her misunderstanding and our repeated attempts to clarify it for her, Jump For Fun OFFERED ADDITIONAL EXTENSIVE REFUNDS AND DISCOUNTS to her in keeping with our outstanding customer service reputation, but as most mature adults know, sometimes there is nothing you can do to satisfy some people. Additionally, this particular individual was so rude, aggressive and conscending to Faith (our Manager) that she made her cry. Our regular customers know Faith and what a sweet and professional person she is, so when a customer is so rude and disrespectful, we look forward to them not returning to Jump For Fun. more

False Price Advertising 2/13/2012

I agree with the ""Worst Experiencet"" review. While the facility is nice and the employees are friendly, you need to watch your bill at check-out. When you schedule your party at JUMP FOR FUN in SOUTHLAKE, make sure you read over your contract and all the fine print. I scheduled a ""Weekday Party Special"" on-line for a Monday, confirmed on-line the price of $229 for up to 20 kids. And a ""Jumper's Club"" discount of $20 would be taken off my bill at check-out on the day of the party. Therefore, the party would have been $209 plus any food or drinks we purchased. I was charged $249!! A $40 price difference is quite a bit! The reason I was given for the higher party price was that ""Monday"" was not considered a weekday! Okay, but when you go on-line and click the button for ""Weekday Party Prices"", you are quoted $229, and then you confirm the party and make a downpayment for the $229 party, I consider this FALSE ADVERTISEMENT OF PRICES. No where on the pages I used to schedule my party was there a note that Monday is not considered a weekday. \r \r After numerous phone calls to the manager, Faith, and un-returned e-mails to the owner, I can not believe that 2 months later I am still dealing with such a petty thing. JUMP FOR FUN SOUTHLAKE does not believe that ""the customer is always right"". Also, we ended up having 14 kids versus 20 kids, SO our party price based on the number of kids, should have been $229. The reason given to me for not adjusting the price NOW, is that according to the manager, Faith, ""JUMP FOR FUN CAN ADJUST PARTY PRICES UPWARDS, BUT NOT DOWNWARDS"".\r \r I will be looking at Urban Air as my new fun spot for parties!! more

Not sure where other reviews happened -- great place! 10/18/2011

I rarely write a review for something like this, but I felt the need to do so here. I scheduled my son's 3rd birthday at Jump for Fun and then later saw the terrible reviews on here (after the party was already booked). This made me very nervous but I did not have time to change the venue so I went ahead with the party. I am SO happy that we did so. This was by far the best birthday party I have ever had for any of my children. The facility is clean and nice and the folks at Jump for Fun are extremely service oriented and accomodating -- not just to me and my family but to all the guests at our party. They worked with every special request that I made -- even the ones made at the last minute. Yes, they do charge you for the food and drink (imagine that?!), but they did not nickle and dime me on little details. I felt that the party was well worth the price I paid. I did not need to do anything except play with my kids and celebrate! more

Absolutely the Best Experience for Bday Parties 6/22/2011

For clarification based on prior reviews, we had my son's 3 yr old birthday party at Jump For Fun last June (2010) (from Southlake Blvd, make a left onto Commerce and they are the business to the left resembling a warehouse NOT the one on the right). We searched for a place that would do everything for the party because we had a 4 week old newborn....we didn't have to look any further than Jump for Fun....the staff was wonderful. We brought ourselves and the cake. My son fell in love with the huge Birthday chair that he sat in...every special touch we could've imagined was done. Our color scheme was red and blue, the paper products were provided. Their policy of grouping age appropriate guests together was a major plus since we wanted to avoid unnecessary accidents. I have recommended this establishment to neighbors and friends over the last year....and would you believe when we asked our son where he wanted his 4th birthday party this year....YEP you guessed it. We're going back to Jump for Fun next week. It is really unfair that incorrect posts can damage a good company's reputation. more

The incident below did not happen at Jump For Fun! 11/11/2010

The problem with City Search Reviews is that anything can be posted, no matter how inaccurate it might be. The incident described below NEVER happened at Jump For Fun!, and we were not even open that night. A soccer party was held at a competitor's facility that evening, though, so I suspect it occurred there.\r \r We take our customer service and courtesy VERY seriously. Our owner is not even present during parties since our Managers do an outstanding job of operating the business, and all of them are consistently given high reviews for courtesy and customer service.\r \r We asked our Managers if ANYTHING even close to the incident described here has occurred, and all were bewildered by this post. The claims made here are not even consistent with our policies. We do not police who or how much food the kids eat. As with previous errant posts, this likely occurred at a nearby competitor's facility (where the female owner is almost ALWAYS present).\r \r Again, this NEVER happened at Jump For Fun!, and NEVER would. It is frustrating as a small business when there is a similarly-named competitor providing poor customer service, and then people confuse us with them. :-( more

WORST EXPERIENCE 11/10/2010

I normally don't write reviews, but in this case I had to do so. The unprofessionalism and demeanor of the owner in dealing with a misunderstanding by an attendee at my party was humiliating. Instead of coming to myself of the other party coordinator (an adult) she yelled and berated one of the young boys at my party for helping himself to some pizza and began ranting about a food charge since he didn't want to jump! The owner's action to yell at a child and demand payment was out of line. The boy had no clue of the rules and therefore should NEVER been yelled at. When confronting the owner she defended her actions since he was eating one slice of pizza that was for our party jumpers. I understand that she has a legitimate concern over making sure she gets everyone to pay for any and all services used, however her unprofessionalism in HOW she went about handling the situation rates this place 1 star, because I couldn't give it zero stars. When you schedule a party with this company, please read over your contract and fine print very well. There is a charge FOR EVERYTHING...even if you have extra pizza and someone who didn't jump wants to eat it. Her actions ruined the evening for myself and several attendees at my party...rather than being able to focus on my child and the celebration it was marred by her uncouth actions and inability to apologize for her outright wrong behavior. more
