did my tax, and did not get anything !! asked them to follow up , they refused and asked me to call and do everything saying it is not their business that I lost the refund that they suppose to apply for me ! more

Avoid this place 2/26/2012

I have never written a review for anything before but the experience we had at Colacino's was so bad that I had to write one. We made an appointment at this place a week in advance and got there a half hour early but we still had to wait nearly three hours before Richard was ready to meet with us and then he only spent about 5 minutes with us. I had punched my numbers into TurboTax before going to this place and after our three hour wait it turned out that my return was slightly less than what I had calculated. When I checked the paperwork, I realized they had made a data entry mistake. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. I would have saved a lot of time, money and the trouble by doing everything on my own. more

Be careful. Rude, vulgar, errors. Foul-mouth & not CPAs 4/25/2011

Terrible experience!!!! BE CAREFUL - they are crooks and they know it. They even said it to me. Rude people including foul-mouth Joe and his staff of clerks, non of which are actual CPAs but said they are. They are all rude, vulgar, error-prone and a big rip-off. Joe is a rude person and I feel sorry for anyone who questions him. He goes off and then he tells his staff to insult you. This place is a rip-off. Buyer beware. I was cheated a lot of money and am considering a lawsuit against this place. more

Awesome accountants! 3/27/2011

They were awesome- friendly, explained everything, and got me a much bigger refund than I was expecting. Had to wait for a bit, but they have one person enter your info, then you go sit with Joe, so instead of sitting there the whole time, you can see that your stuff is getting done, and by the time you get to Joe, he already has everything ready and in front of him. Will definitely be back!! more

DO NOT USE THESE TAX PREPARERS 8/3/2009

I used them and got audited--because of a mistake they made. Something simple that could have been avoided, and now it is costing me! They are unprofessional and unreliable. Cons: Don't know tax law more

Rude and unhelpful 3/23/2009

I would not use this office to do your taxes. You will be there for hours, and they are so overwhelmed with too many clients that they make foolish errors. They are rude and nasty besides incompetent. With all the accountants out there (and since leaving Joe's I've found a great one), why would you want to pay for a lesser service and nasty, foul-mouthed, unprofessionals such as those in that office-including Joe himself? more

Highly Recommended! 2/20/2009

This was my first time here and I was very happy with the service I got. The wait really wasn't that long considering. Rich did my taxes and he took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He was also able to find deductions for me that I wasn't aware I could get and ended up saving me a lot of money. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back next year! more

Joe is awesome 1/20/2009

I found joe by mistake 10 years ago and have been using him ever since - yes they are busy - yes it can get crowded. But joe always gets me a great refund with low risk of audit and does a very thorough job. Maybe if people would stop asking stupid questions the staff could be nicer - more

Nothing Special Here 3/22/2008

Not very thorough. 4/16/2007

These people were not very thorough. They didn't want to listen to anything I had to say. I think they were just concerned with moving people along instead of being accurate. I wasn't too happy with the job they did so I went to another place and they saved me over $1500 in returns. So use at your own risk. more
