Johnny Rocket=Crash & Burn 10/26/2002

Where do I begin-with the terrible service or the undercooked meat? Terrible is an understatement for the service. To begin with it took forever to be seated and we waited about 3 minutes after being seated to recieve the menus. After ordering chili-cheese fries, they were demolished before the waiter realized we didn't have a fork. After requesting the burger to be well-done, it was brought to me not once, but twice PINK. Needless to say, they gave me a coupon for a free burger but I wouldn't even dare give it to anyone, friend nor foe. With the $26 spent on merely 3 burgers, two fries, and one kid's meal, my money would have been better spent on some dog food and I would have kept that down. Pros: NONE, NONE, NONE Cons: Terrible service, Undercooked meat, NOT reasonably priced more

  • In Short
Vintage Coca-Cola ads and posters of Life magazine covers succinctly summon up the 1950s, as do this diner's mini-jukeboxes, red vinyl counter stools and sock-hopping staff. Besides fast food staples like hot dogs, cheeseburgers, tuna melts and onion rings, options like the Streamliner (a grilled veggie patty) acknowledge more modern dietary concerns. Even better for kids, sandwiches come wrapped in paper jackets and nearly everything is served on paper plates. No spills. No breaks. No tears.
