Jim's Vacuum & Sewing Center

I discovered Jim's Vacuum & Sewing Center about four (4) years ago when looking for my wife a Christmas present. Since that time I do not go anywhere else when it comes to Sewing Machines, Vacuum's and Embrodery Machines and Supplies. These are the kindest and most knowledgable people you will find anywhere. Furthermore, most of the time you assume that you will pay more at a small "Mom & Pop" shop; "right?" WRONG. At Jim's their prices are comparable to any discount center you will find, but remember, THEY SELL ONLY THE BEST of everything they sell. They do not deal with anything but the best because their word is the most important thing they have. I wish everyone did business like that. This is one super place for excelent customer service. I have gone in several times to look at machines ( sort of window shopping) and every time I go in I feel that I am a part of the Jim's family. Due to having one of the new fangled machines, I have to have special bobbins, that you can't just pick up at the fabric store. Every time that I have needed to get a few more, I just have to take the model # with and within seconds I have a new hand full of bobbins. I enjoy asking questions about sewing and embroidery because each question is treated with great respect ( even if it is actually a silly question). With society moving into the full service shopping markets, places like Jims helps remind us what true customer service is all about. You wouldn't ever find their level of support in any of the department stores or even the upper class botiques that can be frequented. I give Jim's an A+! more

THis shop sells vaccuum cleaners and parts, and also repairs them. I bought a vaccuum there, and was very pleased with it. I brought my other one in to them because it wasn't working. I hoped they could fix it, but I wasn't sure. If they could fix it, I was expecting a large repair bill, and they repaired it on the spot at no charge since it was a simple problem to fix. It seems to be an old fashioned place, as friendly as they are! more

This is a shop that not only sells Vacuum cleaners but also repairs them. I had a old Vacuum cleaner that i could not find a bag for, I took the model number to them and they had just the right bag. the sell used Vacuum cleaners at a very reasonable price.they are licated on the main street, there parking is good. small lot but semms to be enough. I would give this shop a 4 Star. PROS: good prices CONS: none more
