Worst experience ever 5/8/2010

Where to begin? First, I agree with all the posts previous that I will never be going back to Jiffy Lube in Clayton. Name change suuggestion would be rip-off lube! I just got home from my 2 hour ordeal from dealing with the hung-over employees at JL, Service took 1 hour and 45 minutes. Checking out took an unbelievablr 20 minutes. After 10 minutes of waiting I went and asked if I could be checked out and the guy nearest the door said, ""you need to be checked out."" What?????? I went back inside for a few more minutes to comtimplate this because it confused me. Then I went back out and asked if I could have somebody actually check me out. The guy that was working on the far car finally heard me and said he would be with me in 2 minutes. I waited two minutes and opened the door again and yelled somebody come check me out. Of the four people there, only one actually was working. The other three looked like they could barely move, which was obvious by the time it was taking. At this, one of the guys hanging by his hands on a rack doing absolutrly nothing said ""I don't need anybody yelling at me."" I let that go, and sadely, so did his boss. I will be calling JL Monday to talk with the store manager. Then, to top it off, they had left my truck running for the 20 minutes of check-out I went through, with the door open and the AC running. These people are the most incompetent people I have ever experienced. On top of all this, they have raised their prices during a recession and a 10% unemployment. These are the best people they can find????? Cons: Price, Speed, Customer Service, Atitude more

""We are not mechanics!"" 4/27/2010

My wife took her car in for it's annual inspection. During the inspection, they found a park light out. They told her her car failed inspection and she would have to go fix the problem and come back to pay for this inspection and for a reinspection. She asked if they could replace the bulb for her, she was met with a lot of attitude and resistance. The person finally snapped at her ""Ma'am, we are not mechanics!"" At the same time they were trying to giver her coupons for discounted future services. Why would we want to take our car for service to a place without mechanics? They advertise bulb inspection and replacement on their website.???\r My wife came home, got a 10mm socket and ratchet and a couple of screwdrivers from my toolbox and replaced the bulb herself. She didn't even need my help, and she's not a mechanic either. Cons: cannot perform advertised services more

Will not patronize this company again 9/28/2009

Before I agreed to have my oil changed I asked if I could get my card marked in order to redeem free oil change(buy 8 oil changes, get one free). I was told by the technician that it would be accepted . I wasn't comfortable with the prices being charged, but felt it was worth it to get next oil change free. When I was checking out, I was told by the supervisor the punchcard was expired and wouldn't be accepted. That was why I asked BEFORE I had the service completed!! Supervisor made no apologies and made no offers to make up for the punchcard not being accepted. After getting back in my car, I noticed that the back floorboard was not vacuumed and I could still write my name on my back window where it was not cleaned, as listed as part of the ""signature service"". Seems petty, but the prices being charged, they could at least get that right! With so many other companies out there to do the same service, I WON'T be back. They lost my business forever. Avoid this location, they steal personal items from your vehicle 2/15/2007

I will never take my vehicle in for service, here, at this location...ever again.\r I had some personal propery stolen from my vehicle, A DVD (Blockbuster Rental) that had to be returned by Noon on the following day. No one owned up to the theft, and if someone is in your vehicle, supposedly doing work, while sampling the goods on the inside, that don't belong to them, then I have a real problem with that.\r I wouldn't recommend this establishment for any services that they offer. It's a bad idea, and I learned the hard way, unfortunately. Pros: fast Cons: they steal, they often leave valve caps loose and oil may drain out more
