I was nervous going in. I hadn't seen a dentist in a while. But everyone made me feel comfortable. No lectures or anything. The hygienist was very gentle. I hated to work her so hard! Dr Alvis seemed genuinely interested, and explained what he saw. It turned out things weren't as bad as I thought they'd be. :-) I definitely recommend this office. more

My husband and I had been seeing the same dentist for a long time. So when he announced his retirement, we were very disappointed. Once you get a good dentist, you don't want to change. Our previous dentist highly recommended Dr Alvis, so we figured we'd give him a try. All I can say is we were both delighted! The office is nice, and so are the folks working there. My husband commented how gentle the hygienist was, and I agree completely. Dr Alvis took a few minutes to answer a couple of questions I had. I appreciated that. Overall, our experience with Dr Alvis and his staff was fantastic, and we highly recommend their office. more

I highly recommend Dr Alvis. I always have a great experience there (well, as much as you can at the dentist). He and his staff are very easy going, and always make me and my kids feel welcome. Pros: Friendly staff Cons: none more

Went in and got referred to a specialest. They told me they would e-mail my x-rays right over "befor my appointment". Well that did not happen when the specialest called for my x-rays that should have been sent the first time they told them they where to bussy lol and would do it in 45 mins. So the specialest cancled my appointment. Now i will have to miss 2 days of work thanks D.R Alvis for having a slack staff you guys are second rate at best!!!!! P.s They told me they where going on vacation and would send a plan of action for fixing my teeth when they come back witch never happen eather! This is a family dentest with a nose staff ! I was ascked question after question about the family and just felt like they where prying and a bit sarcastic. Over all this is not a place you go to if you want things done right the first time!! LOL i just got a phone call from a client of there's telling me the staff brought me up out of the blue and had the nerve was saying i did not like them to much? Would you? This kind of chatter behid your back to other clients thats makes it this office a joke and verry un proficanal. Pros: taking cash Cons: making you mis extra days of work! more
