Jordan is a new stylist at Jean Pierre and she is really great! So friendly and professional! I definitely recommend asking for her! you'll be satisfied!! she is good at long and short hair and knows just how to make you look your best! i left there feeling great! try her out! and students-on sunday there are really good deals!! I love Katie 2/14/2008

I am extremely picky about my hair and since I moved back to Boston from college, I have been paranoid about getting it cut by anyone other than the girl that I had met during my time in Chicago. However, I read a review for Katie and went and saw her and have since recommended my mom and friends because I LOVE her cut. She is very good at listening and takes her time. My hair feels awesome and better than it did in college! I would not go to anyone else more

I love my new cut! 5/28/2007

My girlfriends and I decided to make a girl's day out on Newberry Street to get new summer haircuts. We all went to Jean-Pierre and we all left thrilled!!! All four of us have totally different hair types, and they were all cut professionally and beautifully. My stylist was Cathe Nunes, a friendly, stylish woman who knows her stuff! I have curly, hard to manage hair but she knew just what to do to give me a funky, summer cut. I was so happy! Also, the price was nothing (around $40!). I definitely reccomend this place! Katie is incredible. She does a fabulous job on your hair and gave me the cut/color of the best quality. SHe is kind, friendly and professional. She spends time discussing your ideas and giving her professional opinion. MY hair looked fabulous when I was done and I couldn't have had a better cut. Pros: Katie. Cons: None. more

Cutting-edge style and color 12/3/2005

I've had my hair cut and colored twice now by Cathe Nunes and each time I emerged with a total makeover. Cathe is very talented, as well as hip and edgy. Salon Jean-Pierre does not have to be conservative-- you just have to know how to ask for what you want! Pros: Talented staff, Great products, Comfortable Cons: Parking more

I have been going to this salon and to a particular stylist at Jean Pierre for over 8 years on and off due to the fact that I moved out of State. I am devoted ! I keep coming back because I get a good haircut, Long hair ,short hair.... I have had hair down my back and cut up to my chin ... Devoted they are awsome! more

Good but too conservative 4/20/2004

I have had two haircuts and one color treatment with the same stylist at Jean-Pierre. Both times, while there weren't any mistakes, the stylist seemed too worried about giving me a haircut I wouldn't like, and thus was very conservative with cutting as well as color. The first cut was barely more than a trim (though I asked for something ""new""), and the second time when I asked for a dark brown color it came out barely different from my normal color. I go to a hair salon to get my hair done BECAUSE I don't always know exactly what will look good and I want new ideas, but this stylist seemed to be waiting for cues from me. I would recommend only for people who have a definite idea of what they're after or for people who... well, who like boring haircuts. Pros: professional, value, friendly more
