Fabulous styling with pampering from beginning to end 6/2/2008

The salon itself is incredible and I am so happy to have it in my own backyard rather than making the trek to Boston. My stylist is so knowledgeable. Lisa Bengiovanni can make sense and style out of my very fine curly hair. Thank goodness for her! She is such a talent that I?ve followed her from salon to salon and I am certain we?ll both stay here for a long, long while! While these aspects are the reasons I keep going back to Invidia, they are not the reason for my writing this review. That reason is the salon?s receptionist, Jasmine. I recently called to book multiple appointments for several different treatments. Jasmine worked patiently with me over the phone communicating all the technical information about each hair process and guided me through the decision making process. She consulted with Lisa as needed and set everything up so efficiently and effortlessly that I hung up very grateful. When I returned home I picked up a voicemail from Jasmine. She had learned some new information and was able to improve my appointment schedule even more and called me with the results. She is incredible and a fantastic ?face? to this very special salon. wonderful salon 5/8/2008

I am writing today to express my complete satisfaction with the services I received at Invida. I have had 4 appointments for various services and each and every time I have been very happy with the results and the customer service I received. I would also say that the atmosphere and professionalism is amazing. I am in the service business as well, and I am very impressed with how the staff is so friendly and accommodating. I also would add that the salon is immaculate, very clean. At my first visit I asked if the salon had just opened, I was shocked to find out they had been in business 6 years, the place is so clean it looks brand new, which to me, is a telling sign of how the rest of the business is run. The staff, and especially my stylist were very knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. I would rate this business 6 stars instead of 5 if I could. I also found out on my last visit that they are expanding this year and adding even more salon and spa services, which is very exciting for me, because I feel that this is the best salon I have ever been to in my entire life. My neighbor recommended Invidia to me. She has beautiful hair and it always looks so great and healthy. I feel that what made my visit to this salon so great is that the stylist was really knowledgeable and skilled. The service was very professional and pleasant as well. I also bought some really great products that have made a big difference in my hair?s overall feel and look. The assisting staff was also very nice. I am very happy and look forward to returning. Hi everyone! I want to say that I love this place! You have to experience it. My best friend told me many times to switch my stylist and try this salon. I finally did and I can not believe how wonderful it is. My hair is my life, and I am very picky on how it is done. My stylist was awesome, she was really in tune with the trends and styles. I also loved the style of the salon, it is really beautiful. The front desk staff was really helpful too. I am really glad to have tried this salon out and will definitely go back. The prices are really good too, compared to my old salon, except this place is tens times more professional. Pros: style and price more

I am very happy with the results and service I received at Invidia. This salon was recommended to me by a friend. I also had an opportunity to read several reviews. I am a 30-year-old professional, and am very particular with my over all image. I have very specific needs, being a balance between stylish and fun, and classy and quality. The stylist that worked on me was very sweet and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable during my entire appointment, including my interaction with the assistant and front desk girl. I would not hesitate to recommend this business. I also want o applaud their efforts and support for breast cancer, which is also very important to me. Pros: value more

I highly recommend this salon, I had a great experience. The booking staff was extremely accommodating to help me find an appointment to fit my schedule. I was pleasantly surprised upon entering, the salon is beautiful and very comfortable. My first experience was nothing but satisfactory. I re-booked for another hair color appointment and will be trying out their nail services next as well. I can confidently say, that this business is well worth a try. Pros: value more

My salon choice 10/24/2007

I have, what I think is, difficult hair. I have always found that I could never get it just right. I have very thick and very curly hair. I have always struggled to find the right stylist with the right cut. I am so happy to have come across Invidia. I was actually recommended this salon by a friend so I felt I should pass on the recommendation. I am very pleased with my hair, I think it looks the best I have ever had it in my life. I also want to say that the salon is beautiful and really deceiving from the outside. When you are inside you almost lose sense of where you are. I remember pulling into a plaza, but inside I felt like I was in a luxury spa in Boston. The people that work there are also super friendly. All in all, very beautiful and very well worth the trip. Salon of Salons 9/26/2007

The salon is magnificent. The facade is deceiving since the salon is located in a plaza. Much of the appeal for me is that this salon is somewhat of a hidden gem. I was recently given a gift card by a friend to try this business. The overall experience during my visit was very positive. I enjoyed all the amenities, including a fresh brewed cappuccino. My stylist was very professional and attentive to my needs. The entire salon was very clean and well maintained. I was also very pleased with the make-up girl and nails technician with their knowledge and skill level. My day of beauty was complete success. Pros: Overall experience and professionalism more

Very Very Very.... 8/5/2007

This salon is just wonderful. Very...everything. I was very happy with my stylist and the service she gave me. I sipped my cappuccino and relaxed for one and a half hours, forgetting my hectic day. The Staff is fun and always smiling. I liked the energy the salon had. It was relaxing, yet exciting. The knowledge and expertise is apparent as soon as you are consulted with. They have great products and seem to be well up to speed with latest trends. The waterfall feature separating the salons different areas is also very calming and beautiful. I had a great experience at this salon. I drove by on RT.20 and noticed their sign and thought I would give it a shot. The plaza it is located in, and the simple brick exterior that is tastefully decorated with flowers does not even hint to what is in store when you enter this beautiful salon. I have difficult hair and am always worried when tring a new stylist. I have been to many different stylists and salon because I haven?t really found anyone that can do my hair exactly how I want it. I was pleasantly greeted and my stylist took the time to really understand me. I am so happy with the result. I booked another appointment before I left, next time I will try a color service. I definitely recommend this salon to anyone. They are very polite and professional, and really know what they are doing. The place is also super clean and elegant. Pros: good price Cons: nothing more

I visited this salon after reading a few of these wonderful reviews, and all I want to say is Thank you to the reviewers. This salon lives up to its reputation. Wonderful Staff. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating. My visit consisted of a color and a cut. The color expertise was evident right away, the stylist was very, very knowledgeable. I was swept away to a private color area with my freshly brewed cappuccino in hand. YES! Cappuccinos! Wonderful atmosphere, very relaxing and comfortable. I was also amazed how clean and well kept the entire place was. I was shocked to find out it has been in business for 5 years, it is in immaculate condition, and I would have believed it just recently opened. This fact was actually very important to me, because cleanliness for me is a great factor to judge the rest of the establishments commitment to quality and service. When I consulted with my stylist regarding a possible new cut and style, the stylist was again, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I will also say that the vibe of the salon and the rest of the staff are very nice. The front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly. I hope this review was as helpful. Wonderful 7/16/2007

I have heard and overheard many times in conversations with friends, family and at work, about this salon. It is sometimes very difficult for many reasons, all of which I know are my own fault, to leave your existing salon. I finally was able to shed my security blanket and tried a change. After my overwhelming positive experience at Invidia, I could not be happier. I feel like a celebrity from all the compliments and attention I get from friends and co-workers. Invidia's staff was amazing, not only are they highly skilled, they are just great people. The moment I entered, the atmosphere blew me away. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially over the phone when making my appointment. My stylist was amazing, she was very knowledgeable and was able to give me a look that complimented the rest of me. I also was able to spoil myself a bit with a pedicure. Words will not be able to describe the luxury equipment used for pedicures, unbelievable, something out of a Hollywood multi-million dollar spa for the rich and famous. I truly have to admit that I could not even consider returning to my old salon and stylist. Not that they were evil or incompetent, not at all. The level of service and quality at Invidia is very, very high and at a different league than most salons. The value is what will also keep me coming for more, they are very affordable, and under priced for what you are actually experiencing from a visit there. My visit cost me the same as my old salon. It is great to experience first class service from trained professionals. It would be difficult to image this salon?s atmosphere to be matched elsewhere. The four staff members I interacted with had great team work and attitude. I was delighted throughout my entire services. I recommend this salon based on exceptional quality of service by very skilled and friendly staff members. I also appreciated the availability and selection of professional products. Best outside of Boston 6/13/2007

I love this place! My stylist, Kendra, gave me just the color I wanted even after being told for years that it would not work on my hair. The salon is beautiful and incredibly clean. The staff is great. I was greeted with smiling faces and offered cappuccinos. Everyone tries so hard to please you once you walk through the door. I have recommended and would recommend this salon to anyone. If you want the Newbury Street experience but without the commute then this is the place for you!!! LOVE IT!!!!! I RECENTLY HAD MY HAIR CUT AND COLORED... FULL FOIL... IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. STYLIST (ERIN) WAS VERY PROMPT, UP FRONT AND KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT SHE IS DOING! ALTHOUGH THERE ARE A COUPLE OF PEOPLE THAT THE SALON COULD DO WITHOUT (SNOTTY PEOPLE THAT THINK THEY ARE MAKING THINGS BETTER AND THEY ACTUALLY MAKE IT WORSE) MANAGERS THAT ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL TOWARDS STYLISTS AND IN FRONT OF CLIENTS AT THAT.
