After seeing the "B" rating on the door, we decided to go in anyway, after all IHop was a chain, and how bad could it be. Well the food was cold, the bread soggy, our 5, 8, and 9 year old could barely choke down their breakfast and after removing the what seemed to be a pet hair off of the hot chocolate mug, I couldn't eat mine. What made matters worse was the owner. After mentioning to him upon paying our bill about the food temperature and how unpleased we were with the meal, he asked me why I didn't blame the waiter who served it to us. He went on asking about why I blamed him, when I simply wanted to let him know how he could improve his service. I wasn't looking for anything but to tell the owner what I thought he might want to know to improve business. I have never been treated so rudely. I find it amazing that someone in the customer service business could be so rude and unconcerned towards the customer, especially in front of children. We have definitely learned our lesson regarding any restaurant who does not get an "A" rating.
