Intimate Memoriez Photography

To all the brides/couples that have posted on here: I am so sorry that this has happened to you. You plan your wedding, and then so jacka-- like this has to come and ruin it. But they have not just ruined your day, they have also made every bride/couple suspicious of photographers/videographers. To all couples out there: WE ARE NOT ALL LIKE THIS. The FIRST thing I do when I get home from a wedding shoot is to dump the camera to the computer, pick out some of the pictures, and send them to the couple so they can have something to instantly send to family members. When it comes to video.. I will put together a "quick edit" so they can see what was recorded. (It's not everything, but it is something) This company has totally ticked off all of us in the photography/videography world here in San Antonio. It's hard enough to earn a client's trust, but then these people have to go do what they did, and it has made it even harder. We REAL photographers/videographers love what we do. We love capturing your day, and turning it into something even more memorible than what it already was. Please don't judge all of us based off of these jerks. On the other review I found one positive on Intimate Memoriez. I wonder why the intellectual Mrs. Evans doesn't stick up for Margaret and Daniel since she is so satisfied! Probably because the review was written by Margaret and Daniel who definitely need "MENTAL HELP" as "Mrs. Evans" so eloquently put it! I mean who wastes over $40,000 and then can't even fulfill orders from legally binding conracts that they themselves wrote? You must be ashamed of them Mrs. Evans! So as I understand this, Margaret and Daniel are in hiding and only speaking to Shutterfly who in turn is trying to smooth over the mess that Intimate Memoriez created. I have to say, very credible on their part! Too bad Mrs. Evans doesn't publicly commend them online! They deserve it 100 times more than slimeballs Margaret and Daniel! These people (Margaret and Daniel of Intimate memoriez) lured people into their booth space at the bridal show promising exceptional photography and respect for their customers! Most of us got either no pictures or from what I have seen terrible work. And they showed how much they value their customers by ignoring phone calls, e-mails and faxes! I hope they receive the treatment 1000 X's worse than what they dished out to their paying customers! Margaret and Daniel, if you read this under the disguise of "Mrs. Evans" know that you ruined many lives, memories and so many people's joyful days! Hopefully you will both see the wrath of God as He is in control of this situation now! It must be a terrible feeling to be at the mercy of a God! I hope you lose sleep over the situation and that somehow you and your family have to pay for all the bad that you did to innocent people. It appears I have been duped as well. I signed up with IM in January 2008. Paid in full for what I thought would be a reputable company since they market with the Bridal Extravaganza. I've had pretty much the same experience....with nothing to show for it. I'm out $2000 and the cost of make-up, hair and photo venue for my bridals.. Luckily IM showed their true colors early on and I have secured another photographer for my wedding day. While I don't have time to deal with this now, I can assure you Intimate Memoriez has not yet heard the last of me. I have filed a claim with a certain bureau and not holding my breath that IM will respond, but again...as they say, "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Intimate memoriez took my money and I have never recieved my wedding photos either. This was the worst experience ever. Everyone who was ever ripped off by this company should get together and take them to small claims court. I have been trying to get a hold of these people for months with no luck. I do plan on taking them to small claims court. I paid these people over $1,000.00 for pictures and have nothing to show for it. Cons: they take your money and you will never hear from them again. more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I was married in 12/07 and I, like others have nothing to show for it! My husband and I have left numerous phone calls and emails and get no reply. ( Even though their website says they will reply within 24 hours, HA!) When you call, you never get a person. They called me once to say that they would be calling back to set up a time to view my portraits and never heard back. They only called once again to ask if I wanted to buy my negatives( which I paid and extra amount of $ for) and only received those because I went to their house to pay for them, which I was told they were working out of now.I also have filed a report with the Better Buisness Bureau. Dazed and Confused...... I'm confused??? You say you only have one unhappy customer? Weren't there two people who spoke on the WOAI news? One wanted her money back and couln't get Intimate Memoriez to respond!! And the news Anchor said there were over a dozen brides who had been scammed! Where did that number come from? I happen to know (because I also complained) that the Wedding Guide has received numerous complaints about Intimate Memoriez. Call for yourself. They'll tell you a lot of people have had unresolved issues with this company. Oh yah, a story aired on KENS about the same thing. There were two on there. One was just too chicken to show her face! These people are scamming people out of their money. Don't fall for it!! Dear readers, I don?t normally get involved in other peoples business, however when I came across this blog and read all the remarks about Intimate Memoriez I was shocked! They have been doing different events for our family and friends even business associates in Corpus Christi since ?2003?, and not once has anyone complained about them or their services. In fact two of my friends are planning to use them again for their daughter?s wedding. I am a clinical psychologist in San Antonio, I have personally conducted mental health and behavioral research studies for universities around the country, I have helped mentally and emotionally distressed individuals adjust to life outside institutions by designing a behavior modification program that will assist them with keeping their mental illness under control with minimal medications. It is my job to be able to read between the lines and determine whether or not someone is telling the truth or if their mental state prohibits them from comprehending the difference. I must say that the blogs I am reading seem to have structure similarities within it that leads me to believe that most of what readers are being subjected to is the malicious act of one individual using multiple login names. I am deeply saddened by what I have read, and I felt in my heart that I should write something regarding this matter. I have even called Margaret and Daniel on their business phone, (?that is in plain view on their website.?) and they are very upset with what is going on. During our conversation they had made a very valid point, It was stated, they would like to provide the required refunds to those who have canceled due to these blogs, But it is the because of these blogs and the malicious acts of Vanessa Garcia that refunds are pending. (It is a little known fact that in order to spend money you need to make money) I know first hand that this couple works very hard to ensure your pictures are what you expect. more

I hired this company to take my wedding pictures, paid in full and after calling them everyday, sending numerous e-mails, threatening legal-action, and threatening to go to the media these people hand delivered my wedding pictures after stating that they had shipped them. I e-mailed and called them for weeks asking for a tracking number and the name of the courior service they used. They never replied because they had lied!! After waiting 5 months for my pictures, I received horrible pictures!! Not professional at all!! Pictures were off-centered, off focused, peoples' bodies were half cut off of pictures, heads were cut off!! Terrible photography!! Do not hire this company to take your pictures. They are dishonest, take your money and then provide you with terrible service!! After they take your payment in full, up-front, they are impossible to get a hold of. They don't answer their phones, return phone calls or e-mails. They have been a nightmare to work with from the very beginning. As the other poster stated, They are in the business of ruining peoples' very special wedding memories!! They are also very unprofessional when it comes to customer service. I paid in full in cash prior to my wedding. I turned in my wedding order on 022808 and here I am 12 weeks later and I still have no wedding pictures. I was told this was going to take 4 weeks. Then they tell me they will be delivered to me on a certain day and they are not. They made the news in San Antonio recently for their horrible service, and angry brides speaking out. If you want beautiful picture memories of your special day - FIND SOMEONE ELSE! more

these people have had over 10 complaints on BBB's site. they were recently on cristina's court and lost. i hired them to photograph my wedding. (8/07) i ordered my wedding pictures that are completely paid for in 10/07. i was told it would take 3 weeks to receive. i have not received them as of 4/08 (6 months later). they don't return my calls, they give me the run around, they lie and say they've mailed them and they must be lost in the mail, etc. these people are in the business of recorded people's most special day and they have ruined my memories. i have nothing. i'm out money and have no pictures of my day. i don't know how they can continue to operate knowing they're ruining people's memories. it's so sad. i've just been sick over this.
