Ideal Moving & Storage

My most recent move was from New York City to Atlanta and I went with Ideal Moving and Storage Inc. Admittedly, I was skeptical at first; however the entire experience has been very eye opening and positive. Their quote over the phone was a bit off (probably due to the fact that I have a ridiculous amount of Chachke). I dealt directly with JC and she was at all-time extremely professional, helpful and available. The Pickup: Feb 1st 2013 the three man team was loading everything carefully and efficiently. The team was very courteous. The team leader Michael contacted the delivery driver directly in front of me to confirm the date of delivery Feb 5th 2013 En route: Feb 4th 2013 I received a phone call directly from the driver stating that he would be there in the afternoon between 1pm and 2pm. Delivery: Feb 5th 2013 at noon, the driver contacted me that he was an hour away. All items were delivered carefully and efficiently. I just received my items from IDEAV MOVING, I moved from New Jersey to Georgia. Let me tell you from the first date that I contacted them I knew I would be in good hands. Ms. Jackie my sales representative was very thorough and very accommodating. She went over every detail of the move with me… And let me tell you, I can be a real pain in you know what! On the day of the move the movers were very polite and well over prepared and organized for my pickup. They even showed up 35 minutes earlier and almost caught me in my shower. The Pickup was done in about 3 hour and my furniture were wrapped and packed in amazingly professionalism and order. In my surprise the delivery was in 4 days. I almost done unpacking my stuff and I let me tell you… not even a scratch or a dent. I’m very happy. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know who might be in need of a move. Please be assured that if Ideal made me happy “I’m not easy to deal with” you will be just as satisfied as well. Robert M. more

I need to share my experience with Ideal Moving & Storage Inc. I never moved and I have to admit I was very reluctant at first deciding whether or not I should move myself or allow a moving company to move me. I had dozens of moving companies calling me to help me with my move. Sadly to say, my spirit was not connecting with any of the companies that have called me...I was just about to give up until the last call I answered, it was Ideal Moving & Storage......What an EXCELLENT moving company. My sales Rep. was Jacky and she was very honest about EVERYTHING I mean after taking my inventory she studied the list of items and assisted me with everything that I needed to know regarding the nature and scope of my move. Very helpful, and what a personality! After talking with her for a while I realized that she was not only here to help me with my move but, she cared as well. Jacky and her co-workers Robert David and Jose really assisted me...I mean being there for me before, during and after the move as she promised during our initial conversation. Overall, the actual move and the movers were GREAT! I'm talking about fast, friendly and I must admit very, very PROFESSIONAL... They got the job done and I was truly pleased with the services that they provided me. The only thing... well, I wish I would have had enough money to tip the guys a little more...Other than that, I have no complaints. I would recommend Ideal Moving and Storage to anyone. Ideal Moving & Storage quoted me $2,273.29 for my move. Upon pick up ALL items as described and quoted on were exactly the same. After loading their truck they told me the new price would be $3.181.00. When I tried to talk to the supervisor of the crew he said if I didn't agree to that amount that he would unload his truck and charge me per hour per man. After being backed in a corner I had no choice but to agree. In addition, I overheard the supervisor arguing with 1 of his movers refusing to pay him for the day. Upon delivery I had damaged furniture including my china cabinet, desk, coffee table, couch, Dresser drawer, and bookshelf. I had some shattered items in my boxes when unpacking and a box with 2 DVD players was not delivered. The delivery crew also tried to shake me down for another $75 on delivery. more
