I needed a new router. Hypertech is near home, so I decided to give them a shot. I walked in the door and someone asked me what I needed. I told the guy I needed a new wireless router and how I'd be using it. He turned around, pulled a box off the shelf and told me it would do the job. He said he had a more expensive option, but that he'd recommend this one. It's a ""mystery brand"" product, but it cost about 1/2 of what Best Buy wants for an equivalent. Over a year later and still problem-free. Noted repair services and prices along with other product prices during the five minutes I was in the store. Extremely competitive. Pros: Avoid the horrors of Big Box shopping. Cons: None noted. more

Exceeds expectations 9/23/2009

I needed to fix my computer and laptop, both were too slow. They added memories to both of them, cleaned about hundreds viruses out of my computer and kept all the data and reinstalled windows on my laptop in minutes, so both of them returned to life. I will always have business with them! And their prices are reasonable. more

Awesome Service 9/3/2009

I recently too my Toshiba Laptop to Hypertech for service. I had taken it to other places like Geek Squad and Microcenter for a problem that my laptop was having. They told me it was a bad motherboard and would cost over $500 to repair. I took it to Hypertech and their technician was very honest and said it was simply the cooling system was clogged and charged me less that $100 and my laptop is like new now. Thank you so much for the honest service. Pros: Best Service Cons: None more

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff 7/15/2008

I would recommend going here before going to a larger chain for your computer needs. I have taken my PC here several times, for service/upgrades and the staff is very knowledgeable, and will listen to your concerns and needs. Problems and solutions are explained in language you can understand, not cryptic techno babble. They also put saving you money first before making profit and will even direct you to online resources that can assist you if necessary. Prices are reasonable, especially for a small shop. more

Not many like this in Kansas 5/4/2006

I came across Hypertech because its hard to find special computer parts asides from Micro Center, Best Buy, and Compusa. They have wide array of parts for your computer and decent prices. They also sell used parts. They have the prices visibly displayed. Unlike another computer store in the area where when you ask for the price they have to think about it then give you some crazy high price. more

fast, mostly reliable service that's cheaper than anywhere else around. Staff is not always that knowledgeable as you would like them to be but overall you get what you pay for. more

Computer land 9/15/2005

One of the greatest testaments to Hypertech's products and services is how much they have expanded since first opening. They used to be a tiny little shop, but have since expanded and taken over the two adjacent lots in the shopping center. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff that will help you build a computer, or upgrade one, according to your needs, and not according to the amount of profit they will make. I highly recommend it if you want to deal locally. more
