I went to hot tops to schedule an appointment and was immediately able to get in with Ashley. She was very energetic and personable and listened to my needs. I was able to tell her what i wanted and she was able to listen and give me exactly what i wanted. Thank you Ashley. If you want a fun and good haircut see Ashley. Thanks again. JJ is nice and professional 8/22/2007

I made an appointment at Hot Tops to see JJ from the great reviews and i was not disappointed. I have long hair and had not had a cut in months. JJ added fullness and face framing layers to my hair and it completely changed the shape of my face(in a good way). I came in with boring long hair and left with bouncy tv hair. Thanks!!! Go see JJ 8/20/2007

I called Hot Tops at the last minute to have my hair color re-done and i was able to get into see JJ. I not only ended up with beautiful color but i JJ and i discussed cutting my hair(which really needed it). I decided to cut it and the entire job turned out wonderfully!!!! I couldn't be happier!! I called Hot Tops because of the great reviews and was surprised to get an appointment the same day. I set my appointment with JJ and was pleasantly surprised. JJ is very experienced and most of all listened to what i wanted and also offered some of her own suggestions. I am very happy that i took her advice. I walked out of the salon and was extremely pleased. If you are looking for a stylist that listens and has the skill to deliver go see JJ. Thanks. Pros: professional staff, skilled stylists more

I have been coming to JJ for years and i am happy that she is back at Hot Tops where i first found her. Her haircuts never disappoint. She will take the time to discuss your likes and dislikes and also keeps in mind your profession when she consults with you. I called up Hot Tops because of the great reviews and was able to get an appointment with JJ. I am very specific about my hair and she didn't disappoint. Best place to relax and get a cut you'll love. 6/4/2007

I was getting to the point of seriously going Sinead O?Conner, but then I started to going to Hot Tops. Daniel is the master of hair! Prepare yourself to enjoy a relaxing evening, drinking a glass of wine, and getting a cut that you?ll love and that lasts. I highly recommend it. more

Jeff is THE BEST ANYWHERE! 4/12/2007

Jeff is the best reason to go to Hot Tops! I miss him all of the time and whenever I am home in TX I go to him for a haircut b/c I can't find anyone like him and I live in Manhattan! He is so unbelievably talented and the sweetest person ever. When the owner passed away things changed and not for the better but now things are back on track, there's new management and the atmosphere is much more professional! Always a fabulous haircut from Jeffrey 3/26/2007

Jeffrey is so talented. Got my first haircut from him in 1996, but then left for a few years, chasing perfectly good cuts elsewhere that saved me a few bucks. Now that I'm back with Jeffrey (been back since 2002), I realize how much longer Jeff's haircuts last. And that there's no reason I should ever settle for less than truly loving my hair cuts. He's good at all the cuts; I've had everything from short barber styles to my current, longish, dude-in-a-rock-band do. I'm not nearly as hip as my haircuts (though I try...) more

Lauren is a wonderful hairdresser! She is great with color and cuts. I've gone to her with a very specific, detailed idea of the cut I wanted and she nailed it; and I've also gone to her without a clue of what I want, and she created a hair style that was absolutely stunning. She always cuts my hair to perfection! Cons: none that i can see more

I'm gonna fly cross-country so Jeffrey can keep cutting my hair! 3/9/2007

It took me ten long bad-hair-day years to find HOT TOPS! But, it was worth every second of the wait! Jeffrey is a wizard with hair and takes the time required for each magical creation. The pampering is a plus, too. Nice to know someone will offer a drink and then a refill and munchies on weekend mornings. I love that EVENING hours are available as Jeffrey stays until 8 p.m. Helpful given my busy crazy life. If I could pack HOT TOPS into a box and take the whole shop with me when I move I'd do it in a heart beat. Pricey but worth every penny. This from a starving student too cheap to wear make-up or drive a car. The best splurge ever! more

Most consistent great hair cut.. 3/4/2007

I have been having Jeff cut my hair for at least 12 yrs. I had a super short hair cut and it was always perfect when I walked out of Hot Tops. Jeff would spend soo much time making sure every hair was exact. It was always hard to find anyone that could cut short hair. Jeff is the best I have ever seen. I have been letting it grow a little and he found the most individual and stylish cut for me. He is one of the most talented hair professionals I have ever met and just a great guy! My color is wonderful thanks to Michael I recently came from a very high end salon near the galleria after being treated poorly several times, and thank God i found Michael my color has never been better and the style is so hollywood I LOVE IT!!!
