What can I say, other than yesterday when I went in at opening and they had a full day of bookings, she still managed to squeeze me in, even though I left a message on the answering machine at midnight the night before to see if maybe they could groom my Shih-Tzu. My normal groomer was booked solid and my little baby needed a trim really bad, and I looked and looked for an available groomer on citysearch, and this place was the ONLY one where they hadn't one negative review. Don't expect any fancy frills like velvet and such, this is a down home mom and pop type place and even at the last minute without an appointment (which may not always work out for all involved) she kindly did the service for me. At the price she charges, which is extremely reasonable and fair, this seriously has got to be the best non-mobile dog groomer I have met yet. She knew exactly what I wanted done, and was very sweet to my dog. I like that she is in my neighbourhood and she is ultra friendly (and sadly, I didn't get her name and I think they have 2 groomers there). Don't hesitate to give them a try, I appreciated that she took me in as a walk in client at the last minute, no matter what. I'd give more stars if I could...and remember, ALWAYS tip your groomer! Robin has been grooming my Coton de Tulear for a year now. She is hands down the best groomer I have ever taken my little pup to. I tried fancy places all the way to Petsmart. The problem I find is people don't listen to directions! But Robin does and I am very very glad I tried her out. Her prices are very fair and she is very good about calling you when your dog is finished. Pros: Very well priced, Amazing grooming, Always will schedule your dog in Cons: Not a very fancy place, sometimes will take the whole day to groom (busy) more

These ladies really know their stuff! I am happy to leave my dog there and know when I pick him up he will look SUPER!!! They always accomodate my crazy work schedule. They are the best and my poodle looks GREAT!!! Pros: Dogs always look great! Cons: On street parking only. more

These folks know how to treat your dog. They are good handlers and the cuts are well executed. We had a 'problem' dog that did not like grooming shops. After one visit to Hollywood Hounds he was a changed boy. He's looking good and much more tractable since they took time to care for him as well as clean him up, clip him and cut his nails. (A fight that we never wanted to pursue ourselves.) HH took real good care of him and we now take all our dogs there. We also have had the chance to see them work with old and frail animals. They are not rough and show patience with the old timers. HH also was good about our special need - no perfume on the finish or conditioner - we have an allergy to scents and they complied with that request. They are a no nonsense bunch so don't expect caviar and roses with your dog wash. You will get a well groomed, good looking dog back no matter what matted mess of rolled in goop you bring in. Pros: Good animal handlers, reasonable prices Cons: There are no cons to having a clean dog. more

She really knows how to cut so the there is a clean grow out. Very good!!! Very affordable, perhaps not the most fou fou establishment, but perfect to have your dog groomed professionally. more
