Holland Medical Associates

Ever since Newtown Medical Group merged into Holland medical associates the staff is rude and uncooperative. I called one day to make an appointment and the receptionist was so rude and unhelpful I chose to go to urgent care rather than make an appointment with them. A few months later I tried again, this time with a much more important issue and I was told that I couldn't get an appointment for a month out even though I explained that I had issues to discuss that couldn't wait. When they refused to give me an appointment any earlier I suggested I may have to find another doctor and the rude receptionist said okay and hung up on me. I was looking for help with an urgent issue and was left without any options except to find another doctor. Rather than write a bad review as I'm doing now I decided to try to resolve things by speaking to the office manager but unfortunately she did not take the time to call me back. I've been with this office for about 8 years and I'm shocked and upset that at this stage I have to find another doctor because of the rudeness and unkindness of the office staff over an issue that would have been easily resolved had anyone cared to help me. more

This office is the worst when you need a sick visit, after leaving my name on a recording over an hour ago, no one has called back to schedule an appointment for me. I hope all the drs know what is going on, you can never get through on the phone even though they have an “updated office” that does not mean the people there are efficient!! Everything is wrong about this office except dr Liaw!! more

This is a great doctor practice. They really, really care about you. It doesn't matter whether you see one of the M.D.s or the nurse practioner, you will always get excellent care. more
