I didn't enjoy Highland lanes too much because the facilities were not clean and the balls were all chipped or dirty.

The guys in the pro shop @ Highland are the BEST...Gary is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable guys around. The pro shop has all the newest bowling balls and products. Wes & Gary are very helpful, they will work with you and help you find the right bowling ball to improve your bowling scores. Good luck with the second Strike-a-lott Pro Shop in south Austin. more

Austin Standard in Bowling 8/15/2007

I've been bowling here since I was a kid growing up in Austin. I love this place! They've updated it over the years of course...but it has always been fabulous and fun! It is great for bringing friends and for dates. It is a fun way to spend an evening but still being a active. Pros: Fun, clean! more

Lunch Time Fun 9/20/2003

Highland is a great place to go for that quick lunch time bowling fix. Always lanes open and the staff is very friendly. If you need anything, Steve at the Pro Shop is very helpful. Come out and join me and my friends for a lunch time bowl. Pros: Best Staff in Town, Consistent Lanes, Great Pro Shop more

Great Family Gathering Place 5/5/2003

I love the fact that Highland Lanes has a non-smoking area, so we didn't smell so smoky. I also like the individual computer for each lane, so we didn't have to share the computer with other people. Pros: Good Price, Non-Smoking Section, 1 Computer per Lane Cons: Small Area more

I have to say with Highland Lanes' upgrades that the place is looking better and better. I have been bowling regularly for practice and league bowling at highland for almost 3 years, and of all the bowling alleys in austin it is one of the best. Pros: Friendly Staff, Good Value, Recent Upgrades Cons: Not enough open lanes, older video games, bar area too small more
