Henson Bridal Galleria Tuxedo

I had read some bad reviews about them online but because of limited options, I made an appointment. I was still apprehensive and even considered skipping it entirely. We go in there and it doesn't look THAT bad, until my mom pointed out the the ceiling was falling down and there was a big hole in it. I agree with other reviewers about it looking like 80s dresses, but I did my best to try a couple of dresses on. I found one that was pretty nice, but not the one. I also borrowed one of their bra things and it smelled like it had never been washed. I tried on one dress that was made so poorly that the top half was not aligned with the bottom half and was twisted weird when you put it on. Then the shoulders were different lengths, so one stuck out backwards and the other fit... I had an appointment, but the lady wasn't really a help. I think her name was Maria. When we were there, another lady was there also and asked my mom where Maria went. Apparently she went to go get lunch next door or somewhere and just left us alone in the shop! I left about 20 minutes later and do not recommend that anyone go in here unless you know they have a specific dress that you want. Pros: Inexpensive selection Cons: Dirty and old more

We went to Henson's Bridal today to search for my cousin's wedding dress. We started out at David's Bridal (3111 Stevens Creek Blvd), where a snooty consultant turned us away because we didn't have an appointment...they were supposedly booked solid even though there were only 2 brides there at the time! David's Bridal ended up having a cancellation, and gave us the 12pm slot. We decided to go to another bridal store while waiting and found Henson's right down the road. It was a nice store, well organized. We were greeted by friendly consultants, no appointment necessary and we could pull any dress we wanted, which wasn't allowed at David's Bridal; where we had to trust the consultant would pull the right dresses according to our ideas. The consultant selected the most beautiful dresses for my cousin, each one fitting her perfectly. It was a hard decision, but we helped my cousin narrow her choices to 3 dresses before heading back to David's Bridal. After lunch, we went back to Henson's and my cousin tried on the top 3 favorites again...choosing one of them as her dream dress. It's stunning, unique and a great value! Her wedding is only 4 months away and they will be able to get it in time. Alterations cost extra, which seems standard at most bridal boutiques now, including David's Bridal, but that can add to the cost of the total purchase price. The thing I didn't like was that they don't allow photography, probably to discourage finding the perfect dress and then buying it elsewhere, but it would have been nice to have some pictures to compare to the ones we took at David's Bridal. Overall it was a great shopping experience and it was personal...a wonderful wedding planning memory. Pros: Atmosphere, no appointment necessary Cons: Photography not allowed more

I came here to rent a tuxedo for a Black & White Benefit. The service was superb. I recommended all of my colleagues, closest friends, and family to this shop. It's the only place I now go to for my formal attire needs. The last person who wrote a review was correct. These online reviews are helpful. I also suggest reading the rest of henson bridal's reviews. If this many people are satisfied with this shop they must be the best. Pros: I enjoyed the complete visit. I purchased everything I needed for my wedding at Henson Bridal Galleria & Tuxedo. My prior experiences at different bridal stores where somewhat terrible. David's bridal and Trudy's had the worst customer service I had ever experienced. They automatically assumed that if you're not dressed in designer clothing that you cannot afford certain types of their merchandise. They acted as if they were better than everyone who walked through the door. At Henson Bridal they make you feel as if you've known them all your life. They were extremely helpful with everything. They made the horror of the wedding plans a lot easier. Jean Henson, the actual designer, consulted with me and helped me choose a gown that was just perfect for me. It was exactly what I was looking for. To have an actual fashion designer help you choose a gown was very reassuring. Unlike other bridal consultants who have no idea what they are talking about and are just trying to make a sale. My experience at Henson Bridal was above and beyond my expectations. My husband was thrilled with their tuxedo service as well. The store itself is beautiful. A very refreshing look compared to other stores. It was very intimate and comfortable. I would recommend everyone and their mothers to Henson Bridal. Absolutely Outstanding! I even invited them to my wedding! Pros: Everything Cons: Parking was limited, yet wasn't a problem at all more

My dress was exquisite, elegant, and timeless. While it wasnt the first dressed I tried on that day, it certainly was the last. My mother, bridesmaid, and I headed to Davids Bridal one Sunday morning with knowing nada more than the name in hope to find the perfect dress to wear. As we entered the store on San Jose on Stevens Creek Boulevard, noticed a receptionist, but after waiting for 10 minutes without being acknowledged, we began to browse the store. Curiously, I scanned the area, it was apparent that the store should not have been too busy to help customers. My mother and bridesmaid proceeded to take two dresses and we headed to one of the many available dressing rooms. The receptionist without even introducing herself began to scolding my mother and friend. We found ourselves in utter shock and disdain after being treated like second class citizens when we were finally approached after entering the store over a half hour earlier. The insulting comments made by the Davids Bridal reception began to overwhelm us three to the point of tears (starting with over estimating my size by 6 dress sizes). The reception demanded that my mother and friend place the dresses back (which we were unaware the policy at Davids bridal, since it seemed to be a help-yourself atmosphere).
