I had to take my family dog that we have had for almost 20 years to be put down today... i was crying uncontrollably and couldnt stop. Dr Bart was absolutely AMAZING. He consoled me, gave me options and explained what was going on with my dog, good and bad. When he did have to be euthanized, I couldnt be in the room as well as my father. He walked the dog personally outside to our car, and went out of his way to console me and make me feel better about the situation. I cannot say enough positive words about him and his staff, a GREAT place to go, I would reccommend him to anyone. more

6 Cats, 2 Large Dogs, numerous feral cats, all are patients of Dr Barts! I have worked for veternarians in the past, many years ago, and I know a superior physician, as opposed to those that are not. Dr Bart and staff are the best. Keen on listening to you and your pet, working with the needs at hand, with compassion and consideration, these are the practices. You cannot go wrong with the office. more

OMG!! This the most amazing place to take your animals..I love dr. Bart ( my mother inlaw named her dog after him). Most of our family goes to him and Love him and his staff. they are compassionate people their!!! more

I just wanted to say that Heatherdowns Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Bart will be my first choice for animal care from this day forward. I have NEVER felt more confidence in, or better treated by any veterinary Doctor and his staff in all of my experience. I just can't convey how happy I was with our first appointment!\r \r I have another Vet for my dog "Pepper" but was reluctant to take my cat "Jack" to them because of the pressure that they put on me to give treatment that I am not always comfortable with and quite frankly can no longer afford. When I suspected that my cat may have developed a UTI, I looked online for someplace that had a good reputation. I found Heatherdowns Clinic at the top of the list while my former Vet had mixed reviews. I guess that if I had an unlimited cash flow my other Vet would be okay but I don't like being treated like a bad parent because I can't afford to treat my animals better than I treat my human kids.\r \r Dr. Bart took a LOT of his time talking with me more

I have been using Dr. Bart as my Vet. Since he took over at Heatherdowns, and I could not be happier. He knows all of my dogs by name and I have reffered my sister, my aunt, my cousin, and 2 friends to take all of their pets there and whenever I go in he asks how all of them are doing by name and their pets names. I moved to Cleveland and still drive to Toledo just to take my dogs to him. The staff is great and I would recommend everyone go there. more

After 5-6 years, Dr. Bart and his staff are always informative, kind, caring and compassionate. Will care for any kind of animal from cat or dog to guinea pig. When caring for an ill animal Dr. Bart will go the extra mile to consider your situation and form the best plan of treatment. When worst case scenarios arise, Dr. will offer his honest opinion and when tough decisions have to be made, he will do everything he can to comfort you during the tough time. Never a doubt taking my animals there. Too bad human Dr.'s can't take the time and show the compassion he and his staff do! Will refer anyone to visit him! more

Only went twice - for initial shots/etc. for my cat and to get her neutered. So great to deal with, and sent a Christmas card every year until I moved out of town. When I recently had to get records related to that care (which was eight years ago now!), I called and they were so helpful. Faxed the records to me within minutes. First rate customer service, and very kind to my testy animal, too. more

When I moved to Toledo I looked around for a vet and found this place. I had heard some good things so I figured I would go in and check it out. Dr. is very helpful and qualified and the office staff is very courteous. The facility is a little old as it is a converted house, however, this does NOT impact their level of care or abilities. I am glad I found this vet. more

Dr. Soeder is an excellent Vetrinarian. He is compasionate and thorough. We recently had to put our pup to sleep at 15 yrs of age. The kindness and compassion that was extended was incredible and made a horrible day a little more bearable. \r \r Dr. Soeder also takes care of my special needs cat. He is thorough, kind, considerate and knowledgable. He takes the time to answer all your questions and does not make you feel like you are just a number that needs to be rushed out of the office. Appointments can be accomodated within a day or so of calling in my experience. \r \r I would highly recommend this practice for anyone seeking a Vetrinarian that truely cares about animals and their owners. \r \r Thank you Dr. Soeder & Staff! more

dr. soeder and his staff are phenomenal. patient, thorough and genuinely caring. i would absolutely recommend them for your four legged children!! i have a small farm of special needs pets and he has been indispensible and helping me through the challenges of caring for them! more

My 17 year old cat ( Colors ) was suffering from an exteremely bad dental problem , we didnt think she would be able to pull through . DR. Soeder and his staff performed in the most proffessional manner I have ever experienced , and my cat has had the most mirraculous recovery I could have ever immagined. Furthermore, the estimate on the cost of the surgery was accurate , and in my opinion , very reasonable . I highly reccomend Heatherdowns Veterinary Clinic . more

This practice took care of my dog for her entire life. They were always concerned with her health and how she was doing. They would get us in for an appointment at the drop of a hat. When they couldn't help us they always referred us to another clinic or Vet that could. She was always in good hands at this Vets office. more
