The servise is very good in waxing, manicure, pedicure, all different kinds of massage, and more because the place is full of variety.The staff nice and friendly.The place is clean and catchy.The place is inexpensive and the lines are short so you don't wait long.The place is full of good cosmetics that you can chose and buy.Whatever you need in the spa forms you can get there good and fast.The parking is great to find.If you don't know what to do with your skin stop at Haven an they will help and tell you what to do!!!!! Truly great 8/12/2002

I've been coming here on and off for a few months and each time I'm more impressed. The staff here is great - they're so personable, especially the front desk. The massage here is unbelievable! I've tried several of the therapists and they're all very talented - yes, I do have a favorite but I'm not sharing! Pros: really nice, great treatments, relaxing Cons: No Showers more

Well, I loved this place. Everyone was nice to me, and I received adequate service for my money. The atmoshere was a little off at first, but I got used to it and wasable to relax. I espacially enjoyed the "Zen Garden" that they were selling. more

I've been going for regular microdermabrasion treatments and my skin looks amazing. I was a little scared after reading a creepy article about unskilled people performing technical services but the facialist immediately put me at ease and quickly proved herself as an extremely adept esthetician. I can't believe how smooth my skin feels and the tiny little lines that I've been seeing creep up are beginning to fade. Cool! Pros: very experienced more

I came here recently with friends to celebrate a birthday and we had such a great time. I had a facial, massage, and pedicure all of which were fantastic. We were a little disappointed there weren't any showers but the nice girls at reception said they're on the way. I also loved their selection of lotions. more

Surprisingly delightful 8/8/2002

I felt somewhat cautious about coming here based on some of the previous reviews, but now that I've been I have to wonder what the complaints were about. Everyone was nice, I did have a manicure and it was great. I also had the most amazing facial of my life. I plan on coming back in a month for a full day so I can try out everything. I've been coming here for years and have always felt welcome by the down to earth staff. I love everything but my favorite would have to be the Hot Chocolate. I do wish they had showers, though, my only complaint. Pros: comfortable, real, fun Cons: no showers more

Get the gourmet wax 7/18/2002

The fastest, least painful Brazilian wax I have ever had! Definitely worth $50, even if the technician was condescending and made fun of me -- worth it for the relatively pain-free wax. The receptionists were really nice and when I showed up 45 minutes early, they squeezed me in early. Cute waiting area too -- seemed very relaxing. Pros: fast, painless more

I don't know what some of the bad reviewers were expecting and maybe they didn't do their homework and that's why they were disappointed. I have going here for well over a year and always have a warm and relaxing experience. I've had the immaculate Brazilian wax, a massage, facials and several of the body treatments all wonderful experiences. The place is always spotless and clean, some girl said 'sterile' and I would certainly take that any day! I booked an appointment at Haven several weeks ago to have EVerything waxed. After reading some of the other citysearch reviews, I was a bit terrified....however, I was more than a bit pleasantly surprised. I arrived early and spent the time chating with the receptionists who were super sweet. And now the important stuff... The waxing was excellent. Not only were the services less expensive than every other soho spa...they were better! Christina is a pro, and even the brazilian was practically painless. I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment. Needless to say, I am baffled by many of the other reviews on this page. My only advice: don't be a cheapskate! When given the option, ask for the gormet wax. It is so worth the extra few dollars. more
