Harry's used to go off on Thursday Nights! I know , I was there. However, on my last visit I was shocked to see a sparsely populated, mellow bar that my boss would enjoy. The crowd was mature and seemed more concerned with discussing the economy than forgetting about it for a few hours.
The bartender and staff, while very competant, were watching Sex and the City because it was far more entertaining than the bar itself. It seems as though the new Harry's is trying to establish itself as a trendy see and be seen place. Okay, those type of places are needed. But not here, and not at the expense of the old rollicking, get a little crazy Harry's that spent years building that reputation. 'Nuff said.
Pros: decor
