I have gone to Harry's five times in the last month. Three of those times, I have gone home with someone. Two of them were hot. One...well...who cares, two of them were hot. This place is ridiculous. Went here for heavy apps and drinks on a Thursday night. It is a nice bar/lounge spot in the heart of Fillmore. They offer DJ music. I liked the layout of the bar, although it is a tough trip from one end of the bar to the bathroom due to the tightly packed crowd. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere is fun. A decent place for a night out in Pac Heights. more

Harry's used to go off on Thursday Nights! I know , I was there. However, on my last visit I was shocked to see a sparsely populated, mellow bar that my boss would enjoy. The crowd was mature and seemed more concerned with discussing the economy than forgetting about it for a few hours. The bartender and staff, while very competant, were watching Sex and the City because it was far more entertaining than the bar itself. It seems as though the new Harry's is trying to establish itself as a trendy see and be seen place. Okay, those type of places are needed. Living in the neighborhood it is refreshing to have a ""go to"" place...Harry's! With the new ownership in September came welcoming changes. For starters, the atmosphere is tops: a lounge/bar feel. The crowds are a great collection of locals and others who have made the trip. Above all, the staff is fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly and quick on the draw. Wow! I revisited Harry's yesterday and was blown away! They've completely renovated the bar with a beautiful bar-lounge-like feel...warm and cozy, yet very trendy and hip. Ownership must have changed because it's night and day from last year. I would say that this just might be the perfect bar yet! A great find...!
