Handel, Michelle S, Dds - Children's Dental Place

I don't appreciate your opinion, I have been taking my 3 children there since they were little and because of the no parent in the back policy ( which every office has that policy ) my children have a great professional and personal relationship with their dentists and have never had a cavity. As a caring and loving mother I prepared my children for their dental visits, allowing them to process whats to come and not fear the dentist. It's clear that comment was made out of rage and because your bitter and that's a personal issue you have to handle or deal with. There is no reason to slander my children's dental office, handle yourself accordingly. Please don't let her opinion affect your decision on bringing your child ,Dr.Handel, Dr.Joe and Dr.L,Herman have many years of experience handing children and their dental needs. I trust them , and not some sour mother that's looking to harm a family office. \r It's crazy how when people don't get their way they have to go online and bash good Dr.'s, you clearly didn't prepare your-self for the visit, I would of asked all these questions BEFORE ANYTHING so it's your fault you had such a ""bad "" experience.you should practice what you preach there... (asking about prices and procedures )... I don't have ins myself , one job so I schedule accordingly . F.Y.I. Commonsense is FREE....go get some more

Unreal treatment at this facility. They DO overcharge and DO NOT consult as needed first. I took three children in for checkups. NOT to have them x-rayed and any procedure completed before consultation. They insisted on having the kids all back at the same time even though two are under 5 years old. \r We do NOT have insurance and clearly stated that we needed to know what would be done, before it was done, so we could determine if we could afford the dental procedures. We were told there was an initial exam. INSTEAD, they brought our kids back in 30 minutes ALL having checkups, cleanings, x-rays of various types costing almost $1,000! Then they demanded payment in full right there. Unreal!!! NEVER go here. They are rude, and very insensitive to the kids. This is NOT a friendly place. \r Further, I‘ve NEVER been to a professional that did not tell you their fees up front, and what they planned on doing, from an auto-mechanic, to an accountant, a lawyer, anyone. This is insane. When I complained I was told that unless I asked they did not have to disclose anything! I ASKED. I said, I want to speak with the dentist prior to anything being done. I want to know what it will cost. I did not want my younger ones x-rayed. They did not need that. I wanted a review of their teeth first, to see if there were any obvious problems. \r A cleaning is fine. That I gave consent. There was not written form stating they were going to do all of these procedures without me present, and without consent. I COULD NOT agree to spending that much in one day. It broke me financially. They didn’t care.\r I’m sorry you cannot give NO stars! If you decide to go anyway, ASK UP FRONT about all procedures and fees. They do not volunteer this information. STAY with your child. DO NOT be pushed away. We know another dentist that a friend talks about who INSISTS the parent is with any child under 5! Always! It is bizarre that a professional would want to be alone with a small child for such invasive procedures. DENTISTS are scary to young kids. \r So not only did they rip me off for hundreds of dollars for items I did not want, nor could afford, they have now laid a foundation of fear in my two youngest who were mostly terrified during the ordeal. These people should be shut down.\r The manager Anna stated under no circumstances would we be able to speak with the dentist. Who do they think they are? Dr. Michelle Handel, and her partner is Dr. Joe Herman. They run a factory setup with assistants apparently doing all the work. \r more
