I visited Haircolorxperts in hope of finding someone who could help me achieve a new style that would successfully portray my personality. Larry Dunlap was able to give me an amazing cut and color that enhanced my whole look. I must say, this salon went above and beyond my expectations! I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair so when I tried Haircolorxperts for the first time, of course I was slightly anxious. Little did I know, my experience would not only rid me of those jitters but also leave me with a new, gorgeous hairstyle that was EXACTLY what I had pictured! Not being a fan of change I rarely change my hairstyle, but in the hands of Haircolorxperts I am looking forward to my next hair venture. I have seen Nydia twice now, and both times I have come home and my fiance has said that my hair looks amazing. I tried another Hair Color Xperts, and was not as pleased. I will definitely be going to Nydia from now on. Pros: Service and Expertise Cons: Price, its not cheap more

haircolorxperts is a great salon! their close location and awesome staff make every visit enjoyable. noelle has done my hair for quite some time now, and always manages to make it look trendy and funky. everytime she does my hair, I always get tons of compliments on it. she is especially talented in color, and I recommend her to anyone seeking a hair a unique and fantastic looking haircut! Goodness--I had a MAJOR hair disaster here! The colorist completely jacked my color up-- darkened it too much--then tried to correct it through highlighting which left it looking like I had gray streaks. It looked so gross, and the experience was particularly devasting as I am so fussy with my hair. They did refund my money with out fuss and were very nice, it's just some of the girls are a little inexperienced. Also, THEIR hair colors looks extremely fake--and not in a good way. Sorry, they just don't live up to the hype on this board! Pros: None that I can think of Cons: They are not experienced enough with corective color, push products too much more

I am very bad about finding and sticking with a stylist and it had been 10+ months since I have had my hair cut or colored. I saw Noelle, twice now, once for the cut and once to color and she is awesome! The cut was great and my friends raved about it and the color...wow. I went from a blonde to a very dark brown with burgandy in it and it is unbelievable. I will keep going back to Noelle again and have told my friends to do the same! Everyone else there was very friendly as well and very helpful. more

I highly recommend HCX! I have been going there since 2004, and have no plans of leaving there! Nydia has done my hair since day 1, and every time she has done an amazing job. My hair can be a challenge at times (fine/thin), and Nydia makes sure that my hair looks its best! I have never been able to sit down in a chair and tell my stylist to do whatever they want; however, that is exactly what I tell Nydia every time! She is very talented and keeps up on new trends, looks, and techniques. Although I have only used Nydia, I am happy to recommend anyone at HCX. I have been coming to see Stacie Bauer for the past two years. My color and cut has always been beautiful. Stacie has great communication skills and can make excellent recommendations for correct coloring and styling. She is always "in the know" of the latest trends and styles and has me looking and feeling beautiful each time I see her. I have received the nicest compliments and people always ask who my hairdresser is. I have recommended several of my friends and family to her. I have been to this salon numerous times for coloring service- always with good results - However, I recently scheduled an appointment days in advance. The day before the appointment someone from the salon called to confirm the appointment. When I showed up on time for the appointment - they could not find it andhad no record of it. After a moment of searching I was then told it had been moved to the following morning in their computer. The receptionist then said that they would see if they could "work me in". This is highly offensive. When customers arrange to be at the salon on time and this is the reception they get - it is inexcusable. To be told that you will be "worked in" to a stylists schedule implies that they are doing you a favor. I was also uncertain if they would have time to do the color properly as I have long hair. - I chose to leave rather than be "worked in". When I returned to my job I called the salon to discuss my concerns -a discount was offered but I chose not to take it. I was not interested in a discount - I was interested in getting my hair colored that day. I am highly unimpressed with the fact that they saw no real problem with the error - The underlying message that I got is: "Just reschedule - your time doesnt matter ". Oh well, there are too many other salons that do not have this attitude problem or incompetent receptionists. more

I have been around to lots of salons in the triangle area and really found my niche at the HCX in the Arboretum Shopping Center. I had my hair cut and colored by a very nice, young lady named Vickie. She listened well to what I had to say, and repeated it back to me. This is important to me so that I knew we were both on the same page. She offered me water and some pretzels while my color was processing. I was very satisfied with my overall experience. Pros: Good discount for first time customers, friendly technicians. Cons: Bad parking in this shopping center. more

Nydia is one of the best hair stylist around! I must say thou, friends have used other stylists and had the same fantastic , beautiful hair. I would highly reccommend this salon. Pros: Service, courtesy and they listen where other salons just do what they want not what the customer wants. A big Plus!!! Cons: Not enough Parking spots around lunch time more

I trust Nydia implicitly and give her the go ahead to try new colors and styles. I have never been disappointed. She is up to date on all the hottest new looks and I love it when she tries them out on me. Nydia has an artist's eye for color and flattering cuts. I had a wedding coming up where I was sure to see many people I knew from high school and college, and I really wanted to wow them. I went to haircolorxperts in Cary looking for a fresh, new look. Not only did Stacie cut my hair so it was flattering with my face, she gave me the most beautiful chocolate brown color I have ever seen. I felt like I was being pampered the entire time I was there, and even was treated to a glass of wine. The conversation was great, and I felt like a million bucks when I left - I even had my eyebrows waxed! When I went to the wedding, I received so many compliments I lost count. HCX is my far the best salon in town. In addition to its modern setting, and its proximity to Starbucks afterwards, no salon even comes close. After going to numerous salons that catered to both men and women, my wife and I found that Nadia Torres is the best we have ever been to. The advantage of going to HCX and seeing Nadia is that she and her staff know the latest greatest hair styles. My wife who visits her monthly looks like a million bucks after ever visit to HCX. Nydia Torres has been my hair stylist and colorist for the past 3 1/2 years. She is amazing! I have never been with a stylist for longer than 2 appointments, but I've stuck with her because her work is unmatchable! She has colored my hair so many beautiful different shades, from plantinum blonde to brunette and each shade has gotten me so many compliments!!! Her cuts are fabulous! I trust her implicity.
