Dropped my 2004 Honda accord off that has had ongoing issues for nearly a year. I had motor mounts installed at a shop off fletcher in early 2012. Needless to say, the prior mechanic installed them incorrectly and the car shook throughout the year. After a year of annoying driving I took my car to Guys automotive. Guy and his team cleaned up the other mechanics mess and now my car works like new. Very impressed with Guys automotive. I will continue to use them . Thank you Guy for solving a problem that has been going on for over a year. Highly recommended more

I highly recommend Guy's Automotive because after spending a lot of money to resolve a problem with my knock sensors within a few minutes they had the answer. I had brand new knock sensors put on my car and the diagnostic test came up saying there was a problem with them. The engine light would come on and the engine would hesitate and power would decrease. I got my car back today and it drove exactly the way it did when I first brought it. I can't say enough about the quality of the service and the speed in which my car was repaired. You better believe, I will certainly tell everyone about Guy's Automotive service!!!!!!!! more

I will never transfer to any other auto repair shop in Tampa now that I have experienced the services of Guy’s Automotive. After a week of stalling whenever I press on the accelerator, three different auto repair shops, and spending almost $460, Guy’s automotive was a real blessing. They were the only one who actually fixed the problem that I had – a ripped hose that costs less than $10. Imagine that! To think they did not even have to use a diagnostic machine. They did it the old-school way: looking under the hood of my car. I am absolutely recommending Guy’s Automotive to everyone. With my traumatic experiences with the other shops in Tampa, trust me, there is no other auto repair shop that is as honest and as accommodating as this one. more

I took my automotive to their W. Hillsborough location because the radiator cooling fan wasn't working as the engine was overheating, they ask me to leave the car in order to call me once it was repaired. They did about 3 hours later. I asked them that I wanted to replace the fan due that it was blowing fuses, however the only thing they did was to replace just the fuse, in short, for their ""fuse replacement"" they charge me $200 Sure thing the fuse shorted again that afternoon on the same day. I took the car a few days later to another Mechanic, which diagnosed the cooling fan as drawing too much current, he called Autozone for a replacement fan which they had it for $80 dollars, I picked it up and went back to the shop, it was replaced in less than an hour and this Shop only charge me 40 dollars for the replacement, it hasn't failed since. So, it cost me $120 plus tip to fix the issue, while ""Guy's Automotive"" charged $200 to patch the problem for a few ours. Be careful with Guy's Automotive misleading practices. more

Guy's Automotive has quality work, trustworthy service, and a good price. They were significantly better priced and had better advice than other establishments in the Tampa Bay. I would recommend anyone downtown, town and country, carrollwood and westshore Area looking for auto repair to call them for a quote. You can tell by the website that they are excellent in auto repairs. more

I love this repair shop. Every time they service my car, they inform me of my maintenence schedule. I have no idea on what needs to be done on my car or when. They explain everything to where I can understand and being a woman, I really appreciate that. My Mercedes is in top condition thanks to Guy at Guy's Automotive. Pros: great job on my car more
