I chose to use Ground Source after doing a lot of research online. I compared reviews and gave them a call. They replied back within the hour and had someone out to my house the same day to give me a quote. They fixed my sprinkler system and installed new sod for me at a very competitive price. All of the employees were very professional and friendly on all accounts. I was very pleased with the quality of work and timely manner that it was completed. They did an amazing job on keeping in touch with me and responding quickly with any questions I had. I highly recommend Ground Source to anyone looking for quality, great prices, speed, and excellent customer service. more

I picked Ground Source after finding them on the Internet. I must admit I was a little antsy randomly picking a sod company for a quote. Sometimes you actually find that gem. Joe (Ground Source Owner) came out and measured my yard and gave me a fair quote. NO MONEY UP FRONT. His crew came out and removed my old yard, hauled it away and did some regrading for me. I ordered Argentine Bahia and couldn't believe how well the grass looked when they unloaded it. So nice my neighbor asked Joe for a quote. The entire yard was laid in less than 3 hours (6000 sq.ft). I finally have an awesome looking yard. THANKS GROUND SOURCE !! more

I recently bought a house and it needed a new lawn, so I shopped around and Joe seemed to be the most knowledgeable. Joe laid my lawn and everything seemed to be fine. The backyard ended up dying due to root rot, but no worries here. Joe agreed to replace the entire backyard for no more than labor costs! I must say I'm very pleased with Joe and Ground Source and would recommend them to anyone. Even though I had problems, Joe was determined to make sure I was satisfied in the end. I can say that I am satisfied with the product and the service. more

I have used different companies in the past on my previous home and when I recently moved, I met with several new companies to get bids and estimates to work on my new property?s sod replacement and repair to the existing irrigation system. Joe Mouad, the Owner of Ground Source Landscaping immediate impressed me with his knowledge and overall ?workflow?. His bids and estimates were no-nonsense, done electronically on site, and very cost effective. All work was done on time. During the process of replacing the lawn and working on the irrigation system, Joe made himself available to answer all my questions. Highly recommended and I will be looking to him for any lawn and irrigation work in the future. more

Needed New Sod 10/27/2010

New to the Orlando area and had just purchased a home that needed some re-sodding done. We did research for a qualified landscaper with competitive prices, and professional service because this was a big expense and we wanted someone who knew what they were doing. We found that with Ground Source Landscaping. Joe came out and gave us a free estimate and guaranteed us good service. He was cooperative in supplying us with his insurance documents, etc. more

Website says free estimate - NOT TRUE 10/20/2010

Called to get a free estimate and made an appointment. 5 minutes before the appt, I get a call saying they would have to reschedule and I would have to pay $65 for them to come by. What happened to free estimate and my scheduled appt? This is as far as I got with them. more

Honest Company 10/10/2010

I was surprised that Joe didn't ask for any money up front, and took payment in full on completion. We had Ground Source install Palmetto St. Augustine this Spring. We have shade and sun so that was supposed to be a good choice. The sod came out with some brown patch on it (fungus), and Joe said it would be fine. We then received almost two weeks of straight rain fall, and all the sod died as it never had a chance to dry out and had fungus when it was installed. They offer a 30 day guarantee. When I called to report the problem someone was out the next day, to my surprise they said it was beyond chemical treatment and said they would be out as soon as the farm had the fungus issues under control to replace all 18 pallets at no further costs to us. They had to use a different supplier to get healthy grass, but our Seville St. Augustine lawn is beautiful and all the neighbors talk about it. They weren't the cheapest, but when you stand behind your product you sell I'll gladly pay the extra 10% over the guy with no guarantee and no insurance. Thanks again! more

Very Satisfied with Project 10/6/2010

I had 4 quotes for an irrigation and sod project. Joe was not lowest, but was the most professional. Job was thorough and completed on time. Added some landscaping, based on Joe's recommendations. Looks great. I would highly recommend Ground Source. more

Mediocre Quality 7/30/2010

Joe and his crew ariived at my house about 5 p.m. They worked until it was after dark. Because of the lack of light they ripped up several of my sprinklers and termite things. They were laying grass down in the dark that they mixed in some St. Augustine that was left over with my Bahia they manage to cover my water meter box and irrigation box bacause they couldn't see what they were doing. When quoted they said they would get my irrigation up and running but couldn't because they couldn't see. Had to hire someone eles to do that. Now my grass looks real thin and not that great. I would not recommend them. Yes there price was good but just think you go cheaper you don't get quality. So think twice. more

We had groundsource resod our yard and they did good on the installation with the new plants but as soon as they were done and left 2 weeks later the sod died would not use again Cons: sod more

Best sod and irrigation 12/3/2008

Joe came out and gave me an estimate to re- sod and irrigate my lawn. Everyone else wanted to start right away, Joe suggested we wait until he applied Round- up as he explained the weeds would re- germinate. He applied Round- up, came back 10 days later with sod- cutters and a bobcat and dump truck, and had the lawn completely stripped in just part of a day. They then started running irrigation, had that in by the end of the next day, and the sod was out on the third day and installed in 2/3 of a day (25 pallets). Price was competitive, job was immaculate, sod was excellent! Will recommend to everyone! Pros: fast, great job, had all insurance documents including workers' comp. more
