Glen Burnie Animal Hospital

Highly disappointed. We are new to this area and I have never been treated so poorly before. They love business not animals or people. We had a visit on a Saturday for bloodwork for a procedure and when I came to drop my cat off for that procedure they insisted they had never taken the bloodwork and would have to do it again and charge me for it! They wouldn't even listen as I explained why I was sure there was bloodwork taken. The drs and staff were equally rude. I took my cat home and rebooked the procedure someplace else. Someone else wrote that you get what you pay for...well you certainly don't here. In fact they like to overcharge you. more

This was the first vet I went to before finding Southgate animla hospital. The staff was very nice but it was very overpriced and the vet tried to push unecessary procedures for my puppy. A vet like that is not interested in what is best for your new pet but just how to rack up your bill and make more money. The vet kept telling me that my puppy needed a certain shot since she was over 12 weeks when she was only 10 weeks old. There wasnt that attention to detail that I would expect from a dr that is going to be taking care of my newest family member. Needless to say I left and luckily found Southgate more

Glen Burnie Animal Hospital was very kind, caring and supportive to me when I needed it most. My beloved feline friend of 14 years was having labored breathing when I got home from work on April 1, 2008. I called her attending vet. Dr. Brennan who had a power outage and could not see her. They recommended Glen Burnie, so I bundled her up and rushed over. Long story short, I thought she died in my arms and went in distraught. They rushed me into a room and the Dr. came in and said he thought he heard a faint heartbeat and took her into the back. They came in a short while later and told me she was gone. I have to say that at this devastating time the Dr. and staff of Glen Burnie Animal Hosipal impressed me with their loving support. Thank you, ladies and gentleman. more

I had the unfortunate experience this week of having to put my very special cat down, as she was in the end stages of a fatal disease rendering her unable to breathe.\r It needs to be said, that they made arrangements for Simone to be seen immediately, which was at 6pm, and could not have been more thorough, and hopeful, and kind. \r Ultimately, the next morning it was time to say goodbye, but the way that Dr. Shah communicated with me from start to finish, was truly appreciated. He definately cares deeply for animals, and I am hereby highly recommending him. more

My cats have been patients of Glen Burnie Animal Hospital for two and a half years... received all their care here. I have always been more than pleased. The staff, in particular Dr Krebs, obviously loves animals. As for the price...well....you get what you pay for, and I am willing to pay for quality care, but I dont think their fees are unreasonable. Medical care for pets or humans is expensive. more

The Dr's and staff at Glen Burnie Animal Hospital are the best. They have trreated my pet's for many years now and have always treated them as members of their family. I will always be a client no matter where they go. more

they were really expensive, i paid 5 times as much here as anywhere else. one of my dogs were so sore from the shots that he couldn't move without yelping for days. this never happens. for the price you would think the place would be a mansion or something and wasn't very clean inside. more
