"Stunning" 11/29/2010

I ordered an anniversary bouquet for my wife from Gifford's. She absolutely "loved" it. I was not sure what I wanted and they had me look on their web site for ideas which helped me get exactly what I wanted. They were great to deal with and I will be using them again in the future. more

My Favorite Portland Flower Shop 5/11/2010

This is my favorite flower shop in Portland. They have an amazing selection of Flowers. People are always taking photos of their outdoor display of flowers. It brightens my day every time I pass by the shop. Everyone is very friendly . I purchased single flowers and have also ordered arrangements here and have been very happy . Tried to order a flower arrangement for sameday service, but was out material to fill the order. Agreed to wait one day for delivery of what was ordered. Upon delivery, the vase the flower arrangement was in, was broken and leaking water all over. After a call to the store it was then picked up and returned to be "fixed". The next delivery was received minus some material that is shown to be in the picture and was included in the first delivery. Again a call was made in disappointment to the store to explain the situation. A small credit was offered, compared to what was spent, in compensation. Pros: Flowers good Cons: Customer service more

I understand things happen, but what makes a company great is how they handle those situations when they come up. I believe customer service is huge in this economy. Stunning arrangement, amazing value 4/10/2010

I have had nothing but spectacular results from using Gifford's flowers. Carnations are my mother's favorite flower. So I requested a large vase of them be delivered to her on her birthday. What resulted was beyond my wildest expectation. A vase bursting with 50 carnations in two colors of pink as well as some other accenting flowers and greens was delivered to her office. Rather than leaving the flowers with security, one of the owners personally waited in the building lobby until she was able to come down and pick them up herself. He even wished her a happy birthday. Since then I have used Gifford's to send my girlfriend flowers on several occasions. Each time she tells me she is emberassed because of the attention they bring, being so unique and beautiful. Gifford's customer service is uniquely friendly and knowledgeable. I reccomend them without reservation. Highly Recommend This Florist 8/20/2009

I was impressed with this florist's web site and found the exact arrangement that I wanted to order for a grand opening of a friend's business. I called the florist since it was late in the day and I was afraid they would not be able to deliver the arrangement that same day. They said that they could deliver the arrangement within the hour. My friend loved the flowers and sent me a photo of the arrangement. It was just as I ordered. I have since ordered several other arrangements from Gifford's and been very pleased. I would Highly Recommend Gifford's for their breath of designs and exceptional service. . Pros: Great web site and service! more

Every morning on my way to work I see the people at Gifford's buying flowers from people who pull up to the shop with their pick-up trucks full of fresh cut flowers.     This family-owned florist has two locations, and both are within walking distance from points downtown, but the blooms are anything but pedestrian. Trademark roses fill many arrangements, while others might make happy marriages of sunflowers and orchids tucked in a bamboo planter. Inexpensive single-stem flowers and foliage are always fresh to go, from agapanthus to oncidium orchids. Same-day deliveries go to Portland and its suburbs.
