Gourmet ice cream 3/12/2006

Gaga's isn't your run-of-the-mill ice cream parlor. This tiny shop in Charles Village has a wide variety of flavors, and they are constantly experimenting with new ideas for you to try. Prices aren't too bad if you put them in the same bracket as Baskin Robbins. There's an outside patio with chairs and tables if you feel like indulging al fresco. more

Pricey but good ice cream shop. 2/28/2006

Gaga's is a little ice cream parlor located in Charles Village. They tend to be on the more expensive side as ice cream parlors go, but their ice cream is absolutely fantastic. They've been around for a couple of years in a location where businesses seem to come and go overnight, so that must speak to their success. In the summer when it's warm, you can sit outside on a little patio overlooking the street to enjoy your cone! more

Gaga's really surprised me. When the small ice cream parlor opened up in the middle of Charles Village, I gave it six months, max. However, one trip later, I was hooked. This little shop is pure heaven for ice cream aficionados. Try out some of their unique flavors, and don't forget to pick up a frequent visitor's card. Prices are a bit steep, but hey- I'm willing to pay a little more to support my local ice cream parlor. There's also seating outside for those that think one sundae just isn't enough. more
