Best pedicure ever 9/18/2006

I have been here twice, once for an eyebrow wax with Shalyn and once for a French Manicure and Pedicure with Suely. Shalyn was wonderful and Suely was not only very sweet and friendly but her pedicure is the best I have ever had. I look forward to going back! Relaxing, mmm. 6/8/2006

I went for a swedish massage because I got a gift card, and it was amazing. The employees were all very nice to me, especially one of the women at the main desk. It would be kind of pricey on my own, but it was very enjoyable, and the 80 minutes is a perfect amount of time. And absolutely no products were pushed on me at all. The best place to get your hair colored 1/21/2006

Although G2O can be a very expensive at times. It is without a doubt the best place to get your hair cut and colored (Ask for Shaun). Shaun really cares about his clients and I trust him to do ""anything"" with my hair. The staff at the front desk are not always that friendly and seem to get annoyed if you ask too many questions. Most of the stylists are amazing . If you have some spare time you may also want to sign up for a massage which is also top notch (Ask for Julianne she is amazing and worth every penny). I received a facial there recently and it was only ok. I have received better facials for less money. I have been going to G2O for over 5 years and I will continue to go for another 5. The right hairdresser is worth a few rude front staff employees ( or maybe I am just used to it after 5 years). Products can be a little overpriced but I no longer have problem skin. Yon Ka products are amazing Pros: Talented stylist. Great bodywork Cons: High Priced, Rude front staff and no parking ( but this is Boston. Take the train) more

A Day at the Spa... 12/10/2005

I received a 1/2 day at the spa as a gift - a facial, a massage and a mani/pedi (and lunch from Sonsie). The massage was not great though I recalled upon meeting the masseuse that she gave a sub-par massage several years ago (I had forgotten until hello). The facial by Jessica was wonderful and relaxing, and she used Yonka products, great high-end products that are hard to find in Boston. Lana gave me a mani/pedi - a wonderfully relaxing pedicure and a very nice manicure. I believe 1/2 a day was 285.00. It was a very nice day but the massage could've been better. Highlight NIGHTMARE 7/11/2005

My foil results - single process Marylin Monroe look on top and streaked everywhere else; AWFUL. I returned the next morning at 8AM for a refund to go to my regular salon. They refused and insisted I wait until the manager arrived at 11 AM. I left in tears and no refund when another employee saw me outside. He toned my hair to get it back to the original color and offered to rehighlight it that evening if the manager agreed to transfer the cost. At this point, I didn't want to completely fry my hair so I left with my hair the original color I came in with, out $140, plus $30 tip, plus $36 parking: $206 for 5 hours one day, tears, and my original hair color. The salon is overpriced, especially given the fact that a 5 hour foil on chin-length hair rings of inexperience...AVOID THIS PLACE more

swedish massage 6/22/2005

i received a gift certificate from a friend and i called the salon to get some ideas on what treatment to get. they were not helpful at all. when i asked them a question, they were curt and not very informative. i went in for a swedish massage and my masseuse was very nice. (the front desk and the concierge were quite rude). my masseuse asked me specific questions to personalize the massage session but didn't really address the issues during the massage. overall, it was relaxing but not really worth the money. more

Amazing Stone Therapy 5/16/2005

Upon arriving at Giuliano's for my stone massage, I was brought to the bottom floor which was something out of a magazine. The decor, the atmosphere was mind blowing. They had a changing area equiped with safe and secure lockers for your valuables, the softest robes you have ever put on. Once ready, you sit in their waiting room which has water, tea, and light snacks. The massage was amazing. They even encourage you to stay in your robe and have some tea and continue to relax in their lounge area once your massage is over. more

Don't get your makeup done here! 4/19/2005

My facial and massage were heavenly. The mani/pedi was good too. My bikini waxer didn't finish the job, which I didn't realize until I was home. I had to go back for the rest to be waxed. I had an engagement following my visit and could not go because my hair and makeup were such a disaster. I would return for a facial, massage, mani/pedi and a scrutinized waxing. SO overrated 1/22/2005

I've visited this spa twice. The first time was for a facial. The facial was okay, nothing great, but the stylist used the hour to pressure me to buy their products. Their EXPENSIVE products. She actually went so far to say ""How can you expect to be the most beautiful girl in the world if you don't buy the right products?"" Like $30 face rinse is going to get me there. Anyway, the second time I went back because my boyfriend had gotten me a gift certificate - I was to have a body wrap, facial, mani and pedi. The body wrap and facial were to be done at pretty much the same time, but while the body wrap was nice, the facial was almost nonexistant. She really spent like 10 minutes on my face.
