Furniture Outlet of Spirit Lake

My wife and I spent almost $1,000 on one item and delivery charges at the store and were told it would be delivered in a week. The salesperson had checked inventory levels and apparently all was fine. On the scheduled delivery date the item was not delivered so we called the manufacturer and discovered that now the item is on back order. We called the store and discovered that the delivery date is only an estimate and that the item would be sent sometime next week. We are disappointed in the rush to take our money but sluggishness in actually delivering the product and also that WE had to initiate a conversation with the store/manufacturer. As new home owners, we'll be taking our business elsewhere in the future. more

If you're shopping for furniture in the Lakes area then Furniture Outlet in Spirit Lake is the place to go. They offer very competitive prices and are known to be cheaper than surrounding towns. They have good selection and the sales staff is very friendly and helpful. They also offer a clearance section that offers furniture and home decor at deeper discounted prices. I enjoyed looking at all the unique accent items they sell for home decor. Financing is available and some items are in stock. If an item is not in stock, it's shipped from Sioux Falls, SD and should be in-store within a week. The only downfall I can find in this business is that they don't offer free delivery. The delivery fee is $40. I think free delivery is a wonderful service for customers but regardless, the Furniture Outlet is number one in this area. more
