it's not what it used to be. the other poster mentioned Asian Falls being a ""savannah setting"". While it is a pretty nice exhibit, there's nothing ""savannah"" about it. The komodo dragons and koalas are no longer on exhibit, and no one really knows why. The penguin exhibit is a joke, it's always extremely overcrowded and barely enjoyable. The ""Australian Outback"" exhibit now only consists of maybe one kangaroo outside, while the interior is nothing more than a giant disappointing fish tank. The Texas Wild area is nothing more than a giant money grabber. The only animals left back there are farm livestock in the ""petting"" zoo"". Don't waste your energy going all the way to the back for the Texas Wild. This zoo has declined desperately in recent years, and needs some serious revisions! more
