I started going to front range eye health center when I first moved to Colorado. I find them to be very welcoming and knowledgable. I have had ""eye issues"" since I was young and wanted an eye doctor that would be patient and thorough and that is what I have found with Dr. Beeks. Between my amblyopia and my freckle I always seem to have questions and she answers them all, doing any necessary tests to make sure I have the best care. I appreciate that the health of my eyes and how well I see really matters to her. I have recommended Dr. Beeks to many friends and coworkers. more

I just had my annual eye health exam with Doctor Beeks at Front Range Eye and as usual it was a great experience. My check in process with the girls at the front desk was very pleasant and efficient. Dr. Beek's technician ""Lisa"" was very thorough and patient with all my pre-testing. When Dr. Beeks came in to the exam room she was well prepared and greeted me with her usual great attitude. She is always so patient with me and explained the exam process step by step. She was able to answer all my questions and give me solutions to my eye pain and dry eyes. Dr. Beeks then wrote out my new eyeglass prescription, and when I received my new glasses, it was fantastic and as usual, I see great. I have been a patient of Dr. Beeks and Front Range Eye Health for over 8 years, and for over 8 years I have nothing but a great experience 's from the moment I check in, to the time I leave the parking lot. I highly recommend Front Range Eye and have referred many family and friends to this practice! Keep up the great work! more

There aren’t enough wonderful things I can say about Dr. Beeks after my recent appointments. In a routine exam, it was discovered that I might have some early signs of macular degeneration. I had to go back in for a follow up exam a few months later and, of course, in between the two exams I had done some of my own research and wrote down a couple questions I had. However, before I even asked the questions, Dr. Beeks reviewed all that I needed to know about the possibility of MD and thoroughly covered the information that I was curious about. I was most grateful for her calming personality and the confidence she had in her knowledge of the disease because I had admittedly spent a little too much time on the internet and was a little worked up about it all. \r \r From what I experienced during this process and other interactions I have had with Dr. Beeks, she truly cares about her patients and will do everything in her power to make sure you have all of your questions and concerns addressed. I highly recommend her! \r more

Dr Beeks recommended plugs over 5 years ago and probably saved my eyes. Yes, I have had to learn a few things about them but the results has been awesome. I recently had cataract surgery and had to have them removed, I could not wait to get them put back in. Dr Beeks and her staff have been nothing short of kind and forth coming on information and care for me and my vision. \r Thank you Dr Beeks and your staff\r Seeing well in Berthoud more

Excellent, Compassionate, Honest, Thorough! That describes Dr.\r Beeks. When I had an exam and dry eye evaluation with punctal plugs, she was amazing. She has taken excellent care of me. I cannot say enough positive for this doctor. Thank you, Dr. Beeks!!! more

My husband and I are beyond disappointed with our most recent encounter with Dr. Beeks. We had been going to her for about 4 years and during this time Dr. Beeks recommended several times that I could benefit greatly from eye plugs. We had discussed that I would like to wait to have the procedure done in the year in which I gave birth to my daughter since the process is billed through medical insurance. She agreed. When I went in for the actual procedure (with my then 8 month old daughter) I was under the assumption that Dr. Beeks had informed me of all of the possible risks associated with the plugs. Later that day, after the plugs were put in, I was experiencing a lot of discomfort. I went in first thing the next morning to see Dr. Beeks who informed me that my eye lids were inflamed - her solution was steroid drops. I quickly REMINDED her that I was still nursing (as this was mentioned one month prior during my annual exam) and had I known that this could be an issue, I would have reserved milk to accommodate the situation. Unfortunately, the plugs had to be taken out (not by my choice, but because I could not continue with the next step) and our insurance was still billed. Later that day I wanted to discuss why and was handed over to the office manager who was immediately rude and defensive.\r \r Everybody makes mistakes, but the reason I am telling you not to waste your time with this practice is because the staff is rude and Dr. Beeks didn't even take the time to discuss the details with me. Instead, as someone else above pointed out, they mailed me a letter indicating they thought we should find a new practice.\r \r I highly recommend you do the same and don't bother with this one. more

Didn't have a good experience 4/5/2011

I didn't like the experience I had. The office offers a three month period of fitting for contacts, assuring they will do what it takes to find the right fit. After less than half that time, during which errors were made and contradictory advice given, I was told it was time for me to, in essence, get happy with what I had in a rushed final fittting and move along. This takes some skill but isn't brain surgery. I've never been unhappy with an optometrist before, and I'm happy with my new one. BTW, as I read it, at least one of the positive reviews on this site is fake and planted by the provider. more

Great eye doctor 6/18/2010

I am new to the area and wanted to find an eye doctor that would be as good as my old one - and I found one better! Dr. Beeks was thorough and explained everything about my exam very clearly. The equipment her staff used was impressive, as was the facility. And my contacts are working great! I am so happy to have found Dr. Beeks! Pros: friendly, knowledgeable and great office more

First Eye Exam 2/21/2010

Had my first exam and was all around pleased with the service, knowledge, friendliness, skill, and the latest technology equipment that is available at this site. No hesitation to recommend my friends and family to go there. Tech Jackie and then Dr. Beeks were both very efficient and knowledgeable, and addressed my questions and concerns. Thanks! Pros: Service Provided; Staff friendliness, knowledge and skill Cons: N/A more

Can't Recommend 9/6/2009

I was a new patient fitted for contacts on a 3-month single up-front fee plan. Was given a recommendation for daily disposable lenses but was (unbeknownst to me) fitted for lenses that were not made in a daily disposable. I found this out after two months when, thinking I was done with the process, I requested the prescription, tried to place the order online (at half the price her office would have charged) and then discovered the problem. When I made an appointment to correct the error and to be fitted for daily disposables, as per this provider's recommendation, I was treated as if I were causing a problem for them, not the other way around. I was told that it was highly unusual for a patient to have so many fittings. I explained that I was only back due to their error. This person became angry and defensive and suggested that I should find another eye clinic next time (believe me, I would have anyway). I took my time to come in so they could correct their error and was treated as an annoyance - unbelievably bad treatment. Pros: Nice looking office Cons: Not listening; errors blamed on patient; poor communication more
