Since they had trouble locating my dog when I went to pick it up from day care, I'd say, thumbs down. Plus the staff seems unprofessional and poorly trained. My dog seemed shell shocked when she was eventually located, so I decided that free range doggie play time was not a safe or fun activity for my dog. more

Lost dogs, dead dogs... no excuses! 7/11/2011

Tragic that there is no regulatory agency for these types of places. Four Paws Pet Resort is all over the news for all the wrong reasons. According to news reports (that can easily be found on the web by googling four paws + lost dog or dead dog) so far in 2011 they have both lost dogs, and have had dogs killed at their locations! Just read the reviews. I believe that this place is truly a disgrace! If people only knew... more

Best Dog Day Care .... Love Love Love Them!!! 2/27/2011

I just had to write this because I have been taking my little girl...Bella... 1 yr old black lab... here since June 2010... was skeptical at first because I dont like to leave her with strangers but in GA she went to one every day so thought I'd give it a try to give me a break.. She loves it! The associates are AWESOME! They take such good care of her & she is so excited to go back.. She knows the way so when we get to where we have to turn into the parking lot she gets all hyper & goes from the front of the car to the back. She knows the girls that are there because she goes there atleast 5 days a week. I wouldnt go anywhere else... I have also boarded her there & same review for that as well... Keep up the good work! more

Four Paws LOST MY DOGS! (Southside Richmond) 10/21/2009

I know this is hard to believe but I was on vacation and boarded my two dogs with Four paws on Southside. I received a call while I was away from MY NEIGHBOR that they had one of my dogs. Some kind soul had found my dog wandering through traffic on Courthouse Rd. and saw my address on the tags and returned it. The other dog was farther down the road a few hours later and that family returned the dog to Four Paws. more
