Best

To SROW who wrote the previous review ---- they indicated the word ""waiter"" was slow. I'm sorry, but Forest Room 5 has no waiters -- they are waitresses, all of them. So maybe y...

The reviews that say the service is bad are ALL CORRECT! The ambiance and the food is good, but not worth the terrible service. I have been a few times and have been ignored eac...

Forest Room 5 11/16/2003

I heard the food was good but unfortunately my 10 friends and I did get to try it. We made reservations 2 weeks in advance for 11 people. They decided to put us in two separate tables and the only accomodations they could provide was sticking us in the smoking bar in a smaller table where it was tight for 8 people. The manager was useless as well as the staff. I have a large group of friends that love to try to different restaurant and bars and this is one recommendation I will not give. One big disappointment. Cons: Poor customer service more

AT LAST! 11/13/2003

FINALLY, A SLEEK DENVER NIGHTSPOT WITHOUT TOO MUCH ATTITUDE. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT FROM THE MARTINIS, TAPAS, AND WINE TO THE KILLER VIEWS OF DOWNTOWN DENVER. THE MUSIC SELECTION WAS COOL RETRO AND THERE WERE CANDLES EVERYWHERE. THE CROWD WAS A MIX OF YOUNG/ TRENDY AND THE SLIGHTLY MORE SOPHISICATED. WE HUNG OUT ON THE PATIO FOR THE SUNSET AND THEN HEADED INSIDE TO MINGLE A BIT. AWESOME NIGHT... WE PLAN TO GO BACK AGAIN SOON. Pros: LOCATION, MENU, ATMOSPHERE Cons: CROWDED more

Potential Gold IFService Starts2 Matter 8/2/2003

This place is flat out primed to become something special. Good food, good wine, good beers, nice atmosphere, incredible location. Bad news is that service needs to be bumped up to the level of the food. The kitchen staff obviously cares, but the owner needs someone to tap him on the shoulder and tell him to either make his servers put the customer first, or fire them. There are enough good restaurants in this town to otherwise patronize. Been there 2x, will be back soon to see if anything improves. Hope so. Pros: Chef hasactual palate, Building shape, Outside seating Cons: Spotty service, Customer not first more

A hip spot 6/13/2003

Forest Room 5 is a great social hangout as well as a perfect date place. Hang out for just an hour at the ""community tables"" or the couches in back and you will surely meet fun, sophisticated people if you are single. Or if you are on a date you can have your own private table. The outdoor seating is also great, especially now that it is summer. The views are spectacular. Food is very good - I like the cheese and fruit platter after riding my bike there (they have bike racks). It has a neighborhood feel where you could just go in your jeans and t-shirt, but at the same time, I also use it as an excuse to get decked out. Pros: relaxing, sophisticated more
