EXCELLENT service. EXCELLENT Job. NICE people. After a garbage truck hit my Fiat it was towed by the great guys at Five J's to their facility. After I was check out at the hospital they picked me up there and drove me to get a rental car. They took less than 3 weeks (including waiting for parts from Fiat) to fix the car which basically needed the entire driver's side redone. When it was time to get the car they picked me up at the subway station and took me to my beautifully repaired car! I've had the car back now for over a month. It looks perfect. Runs like a dream and every seam is tight. It feels like it was never in an accident. I am very impressed with their work. If you need your auto repaired, this is the place! They are fast, fair and friendly. Definitely a 12 on a scale of 1-10. more

My car was towed because I owed tickets. I understand that happens but why is the towing fee higher than the tickets I owe? I owe roughly 350 in tickets and right now I owe 460 for towing and storage for 2 days. I live in Westchester but park in the bronx to get to work in the city. From now on, I will be taking the Metro North. It will cost me a bit more to commute but a monthly ticket on the metro north cost less than the towing and storage fee. more

Good Afternoon, I am not one to write reviews but this has made me so upset. I am in customer services and have been for a long time now. I work on behalf of a client that their customer car was impounded in New York. So I called the city and got all the info that I need to see about getting this car out of impound. So did all that and it was a huge bill,$2000.00 dollars for being there 15 day????? They did no repairs to the car at all, and then told me that they do not have to give me the brake down. Which is totally false? But anyway, the customer services that the gentleman that answer the phone was so bad. First I introduced myself and told him what; I was looking for and needed to know what kind of truck I would need to being. Asking him if it was towable, the answer I got from the gentleman totally Shocked me. And I QUOTE” He doesn’t give a **** what kind of truck I bring to pick it up , because he could care less if it drives, and he doesn’t have to tell me what kind of condition it was in, and he suggest that I bring a roll back” I was in shook. This guy being so rude was so mean and it TOTALLY discussed me. I deal with customers and clients ever day 7 to 5 everyday and if I kept talking to people like that, I would not be using them. I am not a person to place reviews, but felt like I needed to in this case. They are rude and nasty people and I can say for all that works there, but the manager there, is not a nice person. I don’t care if you are having a bad day, there is no reason to be rude and nasty to someone that is giving you money. I am done venting. My ford 89 pickup broke down on my way to the Home Depot on zerega so one of five js drivers towed me. I went back the next day and picked up my running car. They guys fixed it for free. I was really happy and I thanked the partner behind the desk and got my Home Depot stuff after more

Five js automotive is not closed and is very kind. I was dizzy and shaken up after the crash but they drove me back to my apartment. The nice men helped me make my experience as enjoyable as it could be. Five js automotive is great! more

There are wonderful,kind and caring people at five J's.When I got in a T bone crash they towed my car gave me a ride home.Five J's has great workers that care for you.I would also agree with Mike C. This place is great and I would also highly recommend this place and it is not CLOSED. more

Five js is the most helpful thoughtful and most courteous body shop I've ever delt with. After experiencing an accident, they 1 took care of all the paperwork for me. 2 drove me home when I was very shaken up from the accident. 3 the car was perfectly delivered in less than 2 weeks to my home. These people are schemes and are very slick! They don't care for their customers. they take days to received the paper work! So they can keep your car in there longer.. They don't even deserve 1 star, they deserve 0. They have nasty customer service! more

They overcharge by 38 cents and dont pay the taxes on it and pocket the 9 dollars they tax for themselves and have there cop friends filled out fake tickets then dont file it in the system so they can tow ur car. Pros: there dumb Cons: there ugly more

Let me start by saying, unfortunately I was in a car crash and the police dept called Five J to tow my car. They took full advantage of my misfortune. They are extremely expensive and RUDE! Everytime I spoke to a staff member they were very nasty. Male and female alike. They sent out a guy to my house to scam me into giving them my car for free so they can sell it for parts!!! I refused then when I went to pick it up the superviser was very nasty as well. When I refused to donate my car to them he got real RUDE with me. He then tried to get me to pay $75 for a quote for getting my car fixed by them. CRAZY!!! I felt like i was being RAPED over and over again! I am so disgusted with the service, pricing and whole operation of this company. I was OVERCARGED! They even charged me $1.15 for a stamp that they decided to send a letter to my house. What kind of s*_t is that??? When i called for a tow from AAA he argued with me about their pricing then did not want to complete my receipt in full detail so I can get reimbursed by the insurance co. I also waited 45 minutes for them to pull my car from the parking lot to the street so I can tow it away. I had to pay for the wait too! They should be shut down for scamming people!Please dont get me wrong, I write great reviews for great companies but this one is not the one. They get NO STARS from me and as far as i'm concerned i'll be at the BBB letting them know how they operate in scamming people to get their cars and extra money. AND I FORGOT TO MENTION... THEY CLOSE ON THE WEEKENDS SO IF YOU NEED YOUR CAR BACK YOU BETTER GET IT FRIDAY BEFORE 4PM. I CALLED THEM FRIDAY AT 4:05pm THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE CLOSED AND I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY TO PICK UP MY CAR THEN MONDAY MORNING WHEN I GOT THERE THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE WEEKEND TOO!!!!! :-( THEY REALLY SUCK.PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF AND DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT USE THEM. THEY SHOULD BE THE LAST COMPANY IN THE WORLD BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO USE THEM!!! SERIOUSLY. I'VE DEALT WITH THREE OTHER TOW AND FIX CAR COMPANIES AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS TYPE OF EXPERIENCE. When i crashed my car and brought it to Five J's, I just figured that this towing company would be the same as any other towing company. However, I was very, very wrong. The employees at Five J's are all very courteous and caring of their customers. Also, the employees were very efficient and quick when it came to fixing my car. When I got my car back, it looked as good as new. As a matter of fact, Five J's fixed up my car so efficiently that I never had a problem with my car for another five years. If friends of mine would have problems with their cars, I would immediately recommend Five J's to repair their cars. When my friends would get their cars back, they were all very pleased. As you can see, Five J's Automotive and Towing is a brilliant place to get your next car repair. Pros: everything Cons: no cons more
