Worst

Grew up fishing off of port everglades on our 18 foot Welcraft. Had an amazing time. Caught a lot of mahi mahi, kings, wahoos, and tuna...

To anyone interested in fishing with these guys, the company is called Fishing Headquarters. They are located on Las Olas Blvd and the beach. They have a really nice website at wwwfishheadquarterscom and there is a coupon on there for $5 off. I had never fished before but I had the time of my life and I'll be going out again soon. more

The boat was great 11/4/2010

I went fishing aboard the Catch My Drift. The boat was great, ice cold a/c, very comfortable and they provided everything for us. When we got there, the price was only $30 per person which included fishing gear, licenses, bait, and everything. They didn't sell anything on the boat for food, but you could bring your own and they had coolers for you to put stuff into. more

I think I just found my new hobby 10/20/2010

We had a great time, though the fish were picky that day. The captain and crew were extremely nice... surprisingly nice... my group spoke about how nice everyone was for days after the trip. The cost was very reasonable. We we drift fishing and caught 2 fish. The crew (especially Robert and the captain) were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I WILL be going again. I think I just found a new hobby. :) more

Huge boat 10/13/2010

Boat is huge, 48 footer well equiped. First mate set up the kites and I caught an 8' sailfish and a 3' barricuda. Super price for a nice fishing vessel. Deep water is only 1 mile offshore, so you can do a lot of fishing in a four hour charter. more

They take care of everything for you. Baiting, tying hooks, showing you how to reel in, etc. One of the young gentlemen on board was very helpful and quick in setting us all up. more

Rob, you made the trip! 9/14/2010

Rod was captain for my fishing charter.  We went out on what looked to be a great night but the radio chatter indicated no catches from any of the other boats.  Rod simply kept changing things up - different bait, different  presentation and different depths.  He also stayed past the time when we should have headed back.  At the end we got a single bite - it was a terrific swordfish - nearly 8 feet long and about 100 lbs.  I couldn't have been more excited or more grateful for his persistence  Rob, you made the trip! more

Try these guys out, you will not be disappointed! 9/10/2010

Big Game at it's best!: These guys are GREAT. Going out on a charter does not always mean fish, however Andy and Johan made sure the trip was exciting regardless. They were very helpful to the beginners and respectful to the ""pros"". Oh yea, did I mention we caught 6 King Mackrels and two Amberjacks in less than 4 hours! The 70 pound amberjack is going on my wall! Try these guys out, you will not be disappointed!\r more

My Wife and I booked charter with BIG GAME and had a great time, Capt Paul and Rod put us right on the honey hole, caught groupers, king, and baracuda's, had a wonderful time and highly recommend Fishing Headquarters for your Ft Lauderdale Charters.. they were the BEST ! ! more

I would highly reccomend Fishing Headquarters to anyone looking for a fun activity in Fort Lauderdale. I've lived here in Fort Lauderdale for 10 years and I've been fishing with them for the past few years. They are always professional and friendly with me and my guests that I bring fishing with me. Their boats are the cleanest charter boats I've been on and I always have a good time fishing with them. We usually have a great catch with them and even when we don't I still enjoy spending the day on the water with these guys. Highly reccomended. more

As soon as I put my line in, I had a fish on 8/16/2010

The fishing was slow on the first drift we made. Only 2 guys caught fish and they were small. I think one was a snapper and the other fish was a trigger fish. Well, the captain said he was gonna try a little deeperr, so he moved the boat a little farther offshore. As soon as I put my line in, I had a fish on. I didn't know what to do, but the mate came right over and helped me catch it. It turned out to be a 10 pound kingfish. My daughter, a few minutes later caught a fish, I think it was called a bonida? I don't remember the name but it fought hard. A lot of the other people on the boat caught them too. more

awesome 8/13/2010

Trip started out with a 20 minute ride up the intercoastal waterway, where we saw some beautiful homes along the river. We got to take some pictures of some awesome yachts too. One of the yachts even had a helicopter on it. We headed out about a mile offshore and the captain shut down the engines. Mates gave us our bait and showed us how to use the rods. more
