I was so disappointed today when I called and learned that my favorite hair stylist has moved, but was excited to learn that she only moved 3 blocks across the street at Dhaga on 5th ave and 1st. Not only is Natasha a great hair stylist and colorist, she has a great personality and is fun to talk to while I'm getting pampered! \r \r I will definitely go see Natasha at Dhaga. more

Just got my hair cut by Natasha, who's new to the salon. Gave me an amazing inverted bob haircut, was very attentive to my needs, spent quite a lot of time perfecting the cut and making sure everything is even and lays well. Will definitely come back and ask for the same stylist. more

Color Perfection!! 7/11/2010

I just had my first visit to Fez Salon this past week, and I must say I was so excited about this experience! I was treated so well, and my stylist, Leonardo, is brilliant! My highlights are so beautiful, and look very natural. Compared to my previous stylists, He is extrememly talented and knowledgable. I give this salon and Leonardo a 10, and will be returning for many years to come. I get compliments daily and will be referring my friends. Thanks for making my hair beautiful! I have been searching for a good hair salon for the longest time and I finally found my soul mate hair stylest here. Everyone here is very friendly and nice. Leo does great job on my highlights. I get at least one complement on my hair every day. Leo knows exactly how I want my hair done and he knows exactly what style looks good on different faces. I used to dread going to salons because sometimes it takes hours to get highlights, but Fez keep me entertained the whole time that I never get bored. Simply the Best! 5/14/2010

I went to Fez Salon two Saturdays ago, though it was my first time, it certainly wont be my last. I have very unmanageable, very curly and incredibly thick blond hair. I have struggled and never found anyone that could style it, or color it to my liking. Leo colored my hair and the highlights he gave me are unbelievable. Rudi, then cut it, and the combination of these artists is still getting me compliments two weeks later! I have never received compliments on my wiry locks before, I am loving it! By the way, I didn't even give them any instructions just said I wanted my hair colored with highlights and cut and both of them just knew what would work best for me with my tones and shape of my face. We just move to the Neighborhood over few months now from the upper east. me and my husband was still traveling to the upper east for our hair cuts and decide we must find a place here in the slope.my husband visited couple of salon and they butcher him , me they made so blond disaster,finally I decide to do a little research which i should have done first, found Fez salon really good review,down the block from home.I was looking for at least a 1 bad review. first appointment ,my husband with Kiwi,very professional very sweet girl a few minutes of consultation 30 mins. later amazing i couldn't believe it, he looks so good. She's an artist. a week later my time, amazing she brighten me up and tone my wash out blond. I had totally trusted her after creating a whole new look for my husband. Kiwi took of 10 yrs. off me no one,ever did that.I look 25 with two kids, so much complement on my new color and cut .Thank you Kiwi ,you the best. highly recommend her more

What Is Happening To Fez? 3/10/2010

I had Kiwi highlight my hair the other day, and it was the worst experience i ever had in a salon. I had to get home to my baby. I was in the salon for hours. My highlights look like I did them myself. My husband ""who never comments about my hair"" asked: What happened? I never ran out of a salon as fast as I did. Sorry. Never again! Fantastic surprise 2/11/2010

I was in the midst of an age revealing grey root crisis and was about to go to the same old bay ridge spa that had turned me into my mother over several visits when I stopped myself and did a search for a place closer to home that had good reviews. Heck it's just hair, why not? I was given an appointment with Kiwi. I asked for highlights, root coverage and a cut that would bring back some edge, but would still work in my job. She was AMAZING. She was creative (so glad I trusted her judgment) and her color and highlights are perfect (she initially went too light on the lights but instantly recognized the oops and corrected it perfectly). Who could ask for more than a creative attentive and patient stylist who makes you look like yourself again? Pros: Creative and attentive more

Maybe I went in on the wrong day. I had Rudy the other day cut my hair for the first time. I thought we were on the same page, ends up we weren't. It was my first time at Fez and not happy at all. Guess its hard to please everyone. Maybe I would try someone else there next time. more

Excellent haircut at a reasonable price 1/11/2010

I am very picky about my haircuts and was upset when my stylist of several years moved away. I am a woman who wears short hair and am always trying to get a cut that looks funky without being too crazy, niether too girly nor too boyish for me. I tried getting a cut at a much more expensive place in the LES, but was not happy wth the results. I'm glad I tried Fez because Rudy understood exactly what I liked, what would look good on me and what would work with my hair type. He was knowledgeable, professional and fun to chat with. Highly recommended. Pros: Rudy is awesome, the price is good Cons: Place could use a little more atmosphere more

best hair straightening treatment 12/28/2009

I came in feeling like my frizzy hair was a wreck. I am usually nervous with what people do to my hair. But kiwi was very friendly and and made me feel comfortable. After around 2 hours I walked out with shiny straight hair, and I loved it!!! She is amazing and worth every penny. Pros: Friendly Staff, Professional service Cons: Nothing more

Great highlights from Kiwi. 12/17/2009

I went to get a cut and highlights and I am so happy with it! It was my first time ever getting my hair colored professionally. I was looking for something a little edgier than usual but still work-safe. kiwi did an amazing job! She made great suggestions and kept me company while I was waiting for the hightlights process to finish. Hate My Cut! 12/16/2009

The worst cut I have ever had. Laura did not listen to a single word I said....totally cut off all my hair (it was long)...now I have really short layers and bangs and can not style it at all! Complete disaster! Don't go to Laura!!!! Cons: everything! more
