My Saturday night 7-course "feast" at Fez provided a fun distraction from the din of the holiday season. I was glad I was there with good company because the night stretched out ...

I just wanted to point out that someone at Fez is writing reviews for themselves. Look at the user profile anaminu. If you are looking at view all reviews, you'll see that there i...

Get Away for the Evening 11/14/2006

While the service isn't the swiftest here, the overall experience is a unique one for sure. The night we were there we had just finished dinner when a belly dancing show began....the staff did not rush us to leave and we ended up staying there for 3 hours after dinner! We ordered a hookah and some drinks....Fez is a great destination spot for the whole evening. Pros: unique dining experience Cons: don't plan on making a show afterwards more

Worst Service!!! 9/23/2006

The WORST SERVICE! We ate at Fez on a Sun night. Once seated, we had to wait 15 mins for the waiter to even ask for our drink order, then we waited another 10 for the drinks to arrive!!! Note: there were only 2 other couples in the dining room. We ordered 2 entrees, however when the food arrived there was no silverware, only serving spoons. Another 5 mins waiting for the waiter to reappear to ask for some and another 5 mins waiting for the silverware to arrive. No bread either, assuming we were supposed to eat with it, as in other Moroccan restaurants. The waiter spoke and understood english, but appeared confused at any of our requests. Maybe he just didn't care. I have NO IDEA how this place stays in business!?! Pros: Average Moroccan Fare Cons: Service, Price, oh did I mention the s-s-slow service? more

Nothing Special 8/4/2006

My family had a reservation on Sunday night and, while we were seated right away, the service turned out to be horrible. We were given one menu for a party of seven and had to go back and ask for more. We asked for water several times before we got any- and there were only four other customers in the restaurant at the time! Our server seemed totally confused while we were ordering and we had to repeat our order a couple of times until he got it, and then when the food came, he had missed my sister's order, so she had to wait, and the rest of us were nearly finished eating when it finally arrived. On top of that, the vegetable couscous that three of us ordered was mediocre at best. simply a few potatoes, carrots, and raisins over couscous with very little spice or sauce- I've made much better and more flavorful at home, and I don't even cook! Overall, it was pretty disappointing as my husband and I were there a year ago for the eight course dinner, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely, but now we definitely won't be going back. The atmosphere is great but doesn't make up for the lousy service and mediocre, overpriced food. Pros: atmosphere, ambience Cons: service, mediocre food more

Great dining experience 1/1/2005

The food, ambiance and service were all excellent. Plan for more than the usual time as dining is also in the style of Morocco, very slow relaxed. Think 3 hours plus. more

A Great Dining Experience! 3/21/2004

The experience was delightful, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. I have already made plans to go back! It is great fun for large groups and you can't beat the price- On the weekends you can get an 8 course Moroccan Meal for $20 a person! But do make reservations the intimate restaurant tends to get very crowded. Pros: inexpensive, delicious, great atmosphere more

Differnt, but Cool 12/4/2002

Overall, the food was very good. There wasn't anyone there, which was nice, and I've always wanted to sit on the floor at a restaurant and eat! Pros: Good Food, Can sit on the Floor, Good Value Cons: Dark lighting more
