I thought the spa was nice but over priced for the service. I went in for a back facial and while the woman was very nice, she asked me if I wanted an enzyme treatment but didn't...

This is a very nice spa in the upper west side. I have not been able to find any other spa that comes close without haivng to take a cab. I live nearby and love to be able to walk to a nice retreat. I recommend them highly. They treat their customers well, and we appreciate it. more

I got a gift certificate for a massage at Feline for my birthday--what a great present! While the masseuse was not particularly talkative or communicative, I much prefer professional cool to overeager chattiness. Still I was sort of surprised not to be asked a question except once, on whether the pressure was good. A smile would've been nice. But that's ok: the Swedish/deep tissue massage was intense, intuitive, and so deeply relaxing I heard myself snore a couple times. The spa was very airy, quiet, very clean and understated-- without that air of self-importance that some of the snooty spas have. Yes they give you a free 1/2 hour facial or massage for reviewing on this site--but hey, the fact that I'm doing it means I want to go back, and on my budget, I appreciate the offer. Feline Spa is the BEST spa on the Upper West Side. It truly feels like an oasis when you enter. It is the only venue that can actually call itself a true spa in the neighborhood. Feline Day Spa 11/27/2003

I have had my nails done about 100 times at what feels like about 30 different places in New YOrk City and other cities and never had such a great manicure. At Feline, they treat the process like an art form. In addition, the manicure lasts longer than the typical manicure because of the finish they apply. I have been a customer at Feline's for eight years now. It is a wonderful place to get away from the busy city even for just an hour. The staff is always accomodating, even when I stop by to see if they have time for me when I dont have an appoinment. I will not go anywhere else for a pedicure in the city. As soon as you enter Feline, you are greeted with soft, soothing music and a friendly smile. This spa offers a variety of services from reflexology to manicures. (I recommend Martha for eyebrow waxing.) Definitely worth a try! Pros: good atmosphere, clean, friendly staff more

I've been going to Feline for 7 years, since I moved to NY. I've had great mani/pedi's, and Lucina does a great job with Bikini Waxes. The prices are very reasonable, and it's always extremely clean and peaceful. The staff is always very professional, organized, and accomodating. It's by far the best neighborhood Spa in New York. I love this spa 10/31/2003

I have been a customer for close to 10 years, first at their old location and 5 years here. My work keeps me travelling, I have an erratic schedule, so I have no 'set' appointment with any one manicurist or massage therapist, but with feline's everyone is so good that I use them all. My favorite gift to receive is a gift certificate from feline's (hint hint if you are reading this and know me). It's a lovely oasis of calm in a busy, noisy city. Feline's is excellent! Unlike other spas, I never have trouble booking an appt. or having to wait once I'm there. Thier staff is also very knowledgable about skin related issues, and more than willing to help. I would definitely recommend this place. I still go to Feline even though I've moved to the East Side. Great service (smells fab), and Sia is the queen of hair removal. I've had electrolysis and waxing from her for years and she's the best. Wonderful atmosphere that's soothing but not pretentious with great products you don't see very often. Well-done manicures and pedicures too. And they are even open on Sunday!
