I got a gift certificate for a massage at Feline for my birthday--what a great present! While the masseuse was not particularly talkative or communicative, I much prefer professional cool to overeager chattiness. Still I was sort of surprised not to be asked a question except once, on whether the pressure was good. A smile would've been nice. But that's ok: the Swedish/deep tissue massage was intense, intuitive, and so deeply relaxing I heard myself snore a couple times. The spa was very airy, quiet, very clean and understated-- without that air of self-importance that some of the snooty spas have. Yes they give you a free 1/2 hour facial or massage for reviewing on this site--but hey, the fact that I'm doing it means I want to go back, and on my budget, I appreciate the offer.
Pros: peaceful atmosphere, convenient to subway, very clean
Cons: not inexpensive
