Because of an old highschool varsity baseball injury way back in the day, I was introduced to the fascinating world of acupuncture. I still have not quite gotten over how strange it is to voluntarily allow yourself to be stabbed repeatedly by a hoard of needles. I know most patients eventually get used to the feeling ang even grow to look forward to it. My rotator cuff injury acts up every now and then, so I end up going back to my doctor every few months. I recommend Dr. Fareh (sp?). He is very accurate and dextrous.
